Interesting quotes from Harry Kane

Interesting that Kane says June should be the cut off point to end the season. I would imagine most footballers are thinking, if not actually saying, the same.

I personally don`t see any football this calendar year.

To be perfectly honest whatever happens to Kane, happens, none of us can do anything about it. Salah is liable to leave Liverpool, as Kane is to leave Spurs, as Aubameyang if liable to leave Arsenal. All players are liable to leave clubs at any time. So what`s the point of worrying? Players come and go.

Plenty of players win trophies and move on. Ronaldo was winning trophies at Real Madrid, and moved. If you think if Real Madrid or Barcelona didn`t come in for Salah he wouldn`t move, then you don't know a lot about how players think. Salah has no more loyalty to Liverpool, than he had to his previous clubs.

And not like he is actually winning lots of trophies, he hasn`t even won a domestic trophy in England. He won a CL trophy, and a couple of other mickey mouse cups that were played out over just two or three games, against teams that most had never heard of.

Regardless of what he's won, going to win he is still winning and getting medals.

Kane and Auba have been topping scoring charts with no medals. They are both going to want more and only way is with a move away.

Will be stunned if Kane is still at Spurs next season (whenever that maybe). There's no chance Levy will spend the kind of money required to make Spurs challengers for trophies this summer. It will just be another year of his career wasted. He deserves an opportunity to win things. I'll wish him all the best when he leaves. Just goes to show how little Spurs have progressed under Levy. Its like groundhog day.... Seen this all before with Modders, Bale & Walker. We are nothing except a nice/expensive stadium

Kane will be gone soon enough, he won`t win any trophies at Spurs under ENIC.

We are owned by businessmen who are only interested in profit, Kane wants silverware, ENIC want profit before glory.

I would not begrudge Kane a move, just as long as it is abroad and out of the PL, he is wasting his career helping make profits for Lewis and Levy.

Funny we were all discussing strikers credentials in the prem over the years. Many mentioned whilst Drogba scored goals, he maybe wasn’t as prolific as he should have been. No doubt in part due to Mourinho’s style of play.

One does wonder whether Harry, who has a hunger to score goals - maybe feels the same tactics will stunt his goals figures. Couldn’t blame him, the way we were being set up tactically under Mourinho was hardly progressive.

And how many other clubs have really progressed to the point of winning multiple trophies. Only the sugar daddy clubs and chequebook clubs win most of the trophies. Spurs just happen to be in the same boat as the other 95 per cent of clubs that win nothing.

I never quite get where you are coming from when you talk about progression. Spurs have progressed immensely since the days of finishing like 12th on a regular basis.

"I'll always love Spurs, but it's one of those things. I've always said if I don't feel like we're progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I'm not someone to stay there just for the sake of it.“

I wonder why the bbc left of the I love spurs start of that comment? Starting with the I’ll always love spurs sounds like he’s thinking of leaving soon.

“ I love Spurs, I’ll always love Spurs.
But if I don’t feel we’re progressing as a team or going in the right direction, I’m not just someone to the stay there for the sake of it. I’m an ambitious player.”

"You never know. Arsenal is a massive club, a great club. I have been playing here for eight years and I love this club. Whatever happens that will never change.

"We'll sit down next week. Arsenal is a massive club, whatever happens I'll always love this club."

- Robin van Persie, 2012

Now admittedly van Persie was a couple of years older then than Kane is now but, though it's always nice to hear, from experience I wouldn't put too much by any player saying how much they 'love' a club.

We still haven’t won anything Sandy. Talk about progression all you like, but top players want to win trophies. Kane won’t be winning anything anytime soon at this club with the way our hierarchy operate. If we actually pushed on as a club instead of standing still 2 years ago, we could of been where Liverpool are currently, but instead we decided to spend nothing and it’s truly f** us. Liverpool are now on another planet compared to us when we were on their level, if not not slightly higher 2 seasons ago. Just goes to show if you have proper owners who actually want the club to achieve success instead of counting dollars all the time. Kane deserves better than Spurs to be honest.

Can you blame Kane, this team is awful and not winning anything anytime soon.

I think we should go after Son, would fit our system of play nicely.

Him and Werner would be great additions

Thats all great mate... but none of that is Harry Kane's problem. Its about the quality of the players on the pitch, not how many concerts we host or how fancy our stadium bars are etc
