Yes how dare bergwijn go back to Holland to be with his wife while she gives birth

Players should have foregone their wages when the crisis started so that the ordinary workers at the clubs could continue to be paid.
You think any of the playing staff of the first team at Spurs or any top prem club would miss a few months wages? Not a hope
It would have been a really nice gesture to help out folk in these times.

Would imagine millions are missing the birth of children around the world while trying to observe social distancing

I'd be ok with Bergwijn going back to Holland as his baby was due. That's understandable under any circumstances. I have watched videos of Spurs current training remotely, and it looks a bunch of pregnant women doing stretching exercises, no offence to any such woman, but the general pace was of the same level!
These players turn up in games and get out fought, out-run, out muscled and in some cases, gave up chasing after 2 seconds!!

With the current training, we'll probably get walloped in every game. Maybe that's Jose's agenda to try to edge the baldy to spend more?
I don't know.

Jose's demure and his game management in the last few games were a lot left to be desired.

I fear we have hit the rock bottom. Hope not. Maybe I am just too depressed in the current climate!

Diamondlights, if you don`t mind me saying, you do seem like a serial moaner. Nothing is ever good enough for you about Spurs.

Your call mate, but really why is everything you post is negative about a club your say you support. There is moaning and there is moaning, and you seem non stop criticism of the club.

Supporting a club is not just about supporting them during the good times.

Levy doesn't care what people think as long his own best interests are maintained.

That's got to be hard for Stevie, leaving your missus when pregnant . Hopefully she can get over here and help him settle.

Daniel Levy is one of Spurs best ever chairman, in their 140 year history. I never quite get all the hate.

Seen plenty more bad times than good in 35 years, just really unhappy with the way ENIC and Levy are running the club.

Not a great advert for PL clubs when this is along the headlines.

Other clubs working with their communities to support and help those fans during difficult times. Spurs no longer a family club it appears

Yes and in all that 140 year history this is one of the weakest period we've had for trophies.

Do you get your season ticket subsidised by him by any chance?

I would love to concur with you Sandy, but there's been plenty of time specially during transfers, when we all thought that Levy and his mantra may have screwed up good signings for us?

Coutinho, Bruno, Dybala etc. come to my mind

IMO the thing that is not right about it is that its stated that all non playing staff are taking the 20% cut in salary yet nobodies playing at the moment.

It should be the whole club doing it (in this together and all that) and if anything it should be a higher percentage for the players who will still earn a fortune.

This is not just an anti Spurs comment this should apply to all Prem clubs.

Erm we’ve released all our doctors to go work for the nhs, have been at the forefront of food parcels and have even set up a distribution centre at the stadium and now are working on setting up a nhs hospital or testing centre at the stadium.

As a club we are certainly doing our part

I get that mate, but surely their is the odd positive thing you can say about supporting the club.

I have been supporting the club for nearly twice as long as you, and I still love the club, for good or bad. I have a moan from time to time, but in general I would defend this club to the hilt.

Well it really isn`t, Spurs won just two trophies from 1882 to 1951, so that is the weakest period ever.

I am not a season ticket holder now Morespur, only ever had one for a couple of years anyway, back in the day. I don`t need to be a season ticket holder to show my love and support of the club. I just go to as many games as I can get tickets for, which is most games.

Don't mind at all mate.... I'm glad you are happy with the way things are at Spurs (although that hasn't always been the case, has it . I'm not telling anytime what to think or say, just expressing how disappointed I am with the club from Lewis, Levy, down to Jose & the players.... If you don't agree, that's cool... more important things to worry about right now

I didn't like his comment about how people need to shut up about transfers. It was an irrelevant point and just trying to protect himself from the fans anger when he lets us down in the transfer market again.

I think he's starting to realise the fans are turning on him. He's the most responsible for allowing a team of genuine title contenders to become so poor in the space of a few years.
