Every club is not in the same boat though, that is the problem with the season now, it can not be considered 100% fair with all variables and complexities at work. You can not just ignore everything and carry on as if nothing had ever happened.

playing it after players have changed is no issue - they should just say if your player wasn't registered in your CL registration at the time of your last match then they are unavailable to play in the competition until the new one starts.
Seriously, how can the UCL take place in August.
4 round of 16 games to be played, involving 2 teams each from Spain Italy and England. The 3 most infected countries in Europe. Even allowing for this to start and take a mini-tounrament style:
Probably best to determine the drawer before these games are complete, for logistics: THey could all take place in the same stadium. in front of no one:
Day 1: 2 round of 16 games.
Day 2: 2 round of 16 games
Day 5: QF 1 & QF2
Day 6: QF 3 & QF4
Day 9: SF1
Day 10: SF2
Day 14: Final.
So 2 weeks.
But lets face it, if we are trying to squeeze this season in before next season, and start next season more or less on time, the UCL / Europa only pushes back either the start of next season or brings forward how soon this season has to restart to get everything in.
Everything is determined by how soon we can get this season restarted. If this isnt possible until say Mid June, then we have 8 weeks to complete the league, a further 2 weeks of UCL/Europa , 3 - 4 weeks break and then next season is restarting in mid/late september. We then completely compromise the ability to deliver next season and a full calendar of dometic and european games. Many more will be interested in delivering next season than finishing this IF this season cannot be restarted in good time.
UEFA insisting at all costs that the UCL /Europa is completed would be an unbelievable stance if it puts at risk completing next season for ALL clubs, not just the privileged top clubs still competing in these eleite competitions.
