I think a decision will need to be made this month regarding the league competitions.

European tournaments will likely get canned, can't see them being completed with the sheer volume of teams and countries involved.

The Scottish cup will be completed before Xmas this year, think that's pretty easy to schedule in.

Whether there is an agreement to postpone next season's league until September/October then try cram in as many games as possible and that way the league's this season can be finished up until end of July which should be enough time to at least get them played behind closed doors.

I'm confused how the Scottish cup could be finished in December. Seems there will be loads of cup tied players after transfers go through. And there's the fact the winner gets a European place.

I think that's still the least likely outcome.

My Francophobia ratchets up.

In France the government has ordered all IPA made in the country to stay there. "That is pretty extreme in Europe, where we are supposed to be all as one," says Steven Willekes from chemical supplier DutCH2 in the Netherlands.

the way things are going I wouldnt be surprised if they postponed the league for a year from when they stopped, play the remainder of the season out this time next year and just start as normal after the Euros

completely miss out the 2020/21 season

What was that fine from UEFA the other day all about, were we late out at half-time and it annoyed the telly so we got fined

...........

Celtic in Europe = Fine/s

The Rangers fine I am guessing was the buckfast bottle but hey-ho that was inevitable so doubt the board would have been sideswiped by that one.

................................

That and a firework that was thrown pitchside.

And finally Rangers have said a big fook you to Covid-19 and are just battering on with their plans and schedules regardless and season books will be on sale from next week.

..........................................

Keep calm and carry on

Ally McCoist is urging players to follow his example and take a pay cut as he and his players did in 2012was his salary not massive for the 4th tier the cheeky kant

The English game is in a state of high anxiety as an eye watering £1B bill could be in the post if they cant complete their season and need to be playing by July, hell mend them they have so many clubs that have ran well outwith their means for a good while from the top division down. What does this mean for up here? Well it means that the unrealistic English view may well for once not be copied by our idiots and they might have to make a decision for themselves.

And finally Rangers have said a big fook you to Covid-19 and are just battering on with their plans and schedules regardless and season books will be on sale from next week.

Hope you are all safe gents, any opinions on the above a welcome change in lockdown to COVID-19 chat.

Celtic sent out their renewal forms last week.

I had a phone call from Manchester United yesterday to remind me that their "early bird" offer would run out soon. You can imagine my reply.

I don't think Rangers have been sanctioned yet for the bucky bottle?

Thought the latest fine was for the Braga games but i'm not 100%.

Just make a decision and we can get on with it, this finishing the season when we can seems bollox to me but if they go with that just say it and let the clubs mitigate for it.
If not just either declare the league as is or null and void it and let the chips fall where they may but at least it will be done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The government (I know) have said expect it to be September before we see "normal" life again so I can't see how we get the remainder of this season completed and a full season next.

They should be planning around these dates and if what we have doesn't work (it won't) then work backwards.

What about player contracts? Can clubs extend for 6 months?

Get rid of international friendlies and cup replays. In fact get rid of internationals for a year. Who really cares about qualifiers for a tournament we won't qualify for?

I still don't think any of this will work so the season should be ended imo.

As for league title - couldn't give a fwck any more and genuinely wouldn't give a flying fart if the season was voided. There will be no joy in "winning" this league this year in those circumstances.
