Question.
If you are English, live in Monaco, but also have a home in the UK get paid by a German company, could the UK tax you.
Not a trick and I don't know the answer.

You only pay tax where you officially live. 2nd home (I guess that how you could refer to his home in the UK) don't count.

You could judge he was a bit of a twat....but that's not illegal
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Apparently you can’t, unless you know him personally.

Catch Phrases, ridiculous Hair, stupid fat cigar, shell suits
you could take a wild guess

And yet nobody did

What...at him being a twat...I think they did....the other - no

The government should scrap HS2, and put that money into dealing with this pandemic. We won't be needing it in a post-covid19 UK anyway, we never did.
Also, apparently the HS2 contractors have been working during the lockdown.

So true.
He never hid the fact he was a t_w at. Everybody knew he was, but still tolerated him on the telly.
But the rest we all didn't know about, (except those he abused, who mainly kept quiet about it or nobody ever listened to them).
Judging by hindsight isn't very clever.
Exactly RB&W. We think that we know someone because they are on TV and in the news, but we don't.
Always funny how some people are concerned about Hamilton's tax arrangements but never discuss the tax arrangements of other British drivers like Button, Coulthard, Di Resta, Irvine, Chilton, etc.
Hamilton's very existence creates millions of jobs
Always funny how some people are concerned about Hamilton's tax arrangements

exactly MUDD.
There is something about this celebrity guy that many Brits don't like. And they will use any flaws he demonstrates as a stick to beat him with.
Other celebs in the same boat inc. Ken Dodd, Lester Piggott, Jimmy Carr, Gary Barlow, Beckhams, Linekar, Robbie Williams etc... the great British public seem to let them get away with it.
Strange. Wonder what it is with Lewis that sets him apart from this lot?
