FC Basel have taken some huge scalps in the last ten years in Europe, whilst going on runs in the Europa and CL.

Not bad for a team in a weak league.

One statistic that is truly impressive -

'There has been at least one home grown player in every United matchday squad for the last 81 years'

Sincere homage for that - amazing!

Mark Crossley has one of the best penalty save records I believe. He saved the 1 Le Tissier didn't score - and, of course, was only the second 'keeper to save an FA Cup final penalty.

Anyone mentioned Lewandowski's 5 goals in 9 minutes?

England only reaching one major final in their history and only a few semi finals.

Impressive or not depending on what side of the fence you stand on.

I don’t think so, he did take the odd one but not sure if it was that season in the league.

Suarez is one of my all time favourites. If it wasn't for Messi and Ronaldo he would like be this generations star.

Chelsea going 86 PL matches undefeated at home.
----------------------------------------------------------------
In extension to that, Mourinho going nine years without being beaten at home in the league - 150 games.

For all the past reminiscing he does to remind people he's still relevant, I'm astonished he doesn't talk about that run ever. It's a truly mind blowing accomplishment.

The Henry one is the one I always think of for impressive stats. For those 20 assists to still be a record almost 20 years on from someone seen as a striker, is very impressive, given all the top creative players and top teams we've had since. Fabregas and Ozil looked like they were going to easily break it but couldn't manage it.

Dele Alli's stats in that one season are pretty impressive for someone of that age. Maybe made all the more impressive because he's so underwhelming now.
