2 biggest tight waaaaaaaanker chairmen in football are by far Mike Ashley and Daniel Levy. Surprise surprise they are the ones taking advantage of the government furlough
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And least successful also in terms of trophies for time spent at the clubs.

No doubt mate. Spurs are just as pathetic as Newcastle in the trophy department. Not much difference to be honest.

When I think of Spurs I always compare us with Liverpool. 2 years ago we were on par, if not better than Liverpool. We were certainly competing with them and with a little investment, we would of pushed forward as a club. Liverpool’s owners pulled out all the stops for Klopp and now they are probably the best team on the planet. Spurs stood still like a bunch of clowns and have got progressively worse every season. Liverpool- class owners. Spurs - sh** non ambitious c***’s!!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Don, they are having one good season, in one competition. Plenty of other clubs having better seasons and still in multiple competitions. Certainly not anywhere near the best on the planet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Give it a rest Sandy mate with you’re Liverpool hate. European champions , world club champions and league winners suggest they are the best team on the planet.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They haven't won the league, and world club champions is a Mickey mouse competition, where you only have to play two games, against teams nobody has heard of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They were about to win the league at a canter and if they don’t it will be because of an act of God

You are clutching at straws here Sandy

Its amusing for us to watch him though

How goes Palmers and Don, I'm thinking pizza take out and a few cans tonight as well as getting the 90's music thread back on the go

I made a batch of chicken jalfrezi yesterday which will last a few days, so gonna have that later. Also have some cans of IPA arriving this afternoon

Tbh any one trying to defend the practice at any club is a certified moron. Trying to defend your own club doing it is just blind stupidity.
As for Sandy saying Pool have had one good season, after losing 1 game last season (and only losing to
record breaking champions) and storming it , whilst breaking records, this season....well 😅....who is even surprised? 😂

It is no surprise, Levy is a businessman and makes decisions based on his bottom line, always has and always will.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I was a teen when then Beatles were about, brought their first four albums, Kinks were my local group. I liked the music scene of the 1960s. It was mostly fairly simple pop stuff, but the teens talked music, like most talk football now. I particularly liked Jim Morrison and the Doors late 60s. I then moved onto the 1970s and the Prog Rock era, so my favourite ever bands were Yes, Rush, Neil Young and Crazy Horse and the like. Neil Young is my still my favourite ever performer.

I have lots of their albums, mostly on vinyl. I particularly liked `Farewell to Kings` and `Hemispheres`. Neil Peart, Drummer sadly passed away this year.

Liverpool listen to their fans, that’s the difference. Levy couldn’t careless. He won’t reverse it.
--------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool realised it was a PR disaster, I doubt anything their fans said really mattered.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It's not as if there's enough high profile Tottenham fans to raise a stink.

The Liverpool situation quickly became untenable once people like Carragher started piling on.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I think this is a good point that most have overlooked. Liverpool have the likes of Carra who is politically savvy, has a good standing in the game and is a voice to millions of football fans - saying how disgraceful the decision is. Who do spurs have? Ledley King is hardly the sharpest tool in the box; Hoddle is probably saying all these people were terrible in their past life.

Reckon if you really want this, you could reach out to other supporters groups to help pile on the pressure.

It would be embarrassing for the leadership at Spurs to have the fans out them in this fashion to other supporters groups.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It won't happen. The fan base on JA606 is just a very, very tiny support base of Spurs. Most very rarely if ever attend matches anyway, so their support will not be missed. Levy will still be chairman going forward whatever some on here think of him.
