If it’s true. It is Keith Jackson and the DR. They don’t have a great track record.

The Sun suggesting it’s not that cut and dried.

It smells worse than a night on the lagers and curry.

Silver was one of the first to assume mags was talking about Lawwell

Before mags confirmed it was the Ayr guy

Now confirmed as the Montrose guy

You can change your vote

It’s the SPFL we are discussing after all
----------------------------------------------------------------------
My first comment was about a number of Rangers fans getting excited about Doncaster telling someone thaf he would have to call Peter.

My comment was simply that it was more likely that he was calling the SPFL board member of that name.

Why anyone would assume that I was referring to Peter Lawwell is beyond me.

At the time I the Ayr United guy, i actually thought that both he and the Montrose guy were on it as I had seen both their names.

Admittedly this is all a bit confusing for U guy but I think the rest of us can grasp it ok.

I'm away to bed satisfied with a good days work.

Knowing that you're hanging into my everu post is strangely satisfying.

So much so that when you get bumped off the site again you'll be even more desperate to get back on.

That's me away for the night so you can log off now.

Away and get some sleep. You've got shareholders to think about.

If games can't be played couldn't some penalty shootouts be arranged to decide those games outcomes?
In cup games when a winner can't be decided, a penalty shootout is our go to option.

It's:
Unlikely we can host games now.
Shootouts could be delivered behind closed doors.
Gatherings numbers could be controlled.
And it might also be possible to abide with social distancing.
So we get results for game outcomes with a best of 10.
Not ideal but every team is given the same opportunity.
And we can settle league standings this way.
Fixtures can be caught up easily since rest periods are unecessary.
Shootouts could be played according to the fixture calendar.
All teams will end on equal fixtures.
Winnings can be distributed fairly.
As can Euro spots and promotion/relegation places.

Cons:
Results will always be disputed
Unfair advantage exists where star quality in GK or striker.
Still no gates for home clubs
This would end race for top scorers.
Players put at risk.

I don't think this is something that should be implemented now. But if time is running out it allows for sporting integrity to be maintained and prevents the governing body declaring results without competition.
If games can be played, this is preferable.
Thoughts?

My thoughts are that this is the idea of an 8 year old down the park when mum shouts it's home time then it becomes next goal's the winner or penalties
