Where's Auba going?

Jovic doesn't look the Prem type striker to me, but you never know.

What about Giroud ?

Welcome to Old Trafford.

I'd sell him and both Lacazette who lets face it is not upto the challenge especially in away games. Hopefully Atletico Madrid still want him for the £50-60Mil mark.

Replacement i'd be looking at would be Moussa Dembele (Lyon) Odsonne Édouard (Celtic) Both are still veryyoung at 23 & 22 and have loads of talent. These IMO are realistic signing for us at this moment in time.

I'd also consider Jovic from Real Madrid havign a torrid time over their so maybe some sort of swap can be done with Auba.

Can`t blame him, a club going rapidly backwards, there is no future at the Degenerates.

He hasnt.

One thing the OP hasnt mentioned is the fact we have Martinelli and Nketiah at the club. There is every chance we will sell Auba and Laca and go with these two.
Possibly buy a stopgap for a year (Giroud 😁) to help those two grow if Laca and Auba went same time.

How highly rated are Martinelli and Nketiah?

posted on 13/4/20

Martinelli very.
Nketiah not so much, but was getting starts ahead of Laca.

If we dont get CL next season, and with money likely to be tight, it is very much something we could do.

I'm still surprised Aubameyang decided to come to Arsenal and spend his prime here. Very odd decision.

I know it's hard to believe it is even possible but Giroud has got even slower the past 2 years.

Are you sure? 29 is still prime. Your prime runs up to 32ish.

Come on Dubbed Auba was a a savage at Dortmund

I really like Auba but I’ve said it so many times, if we get a good offer we should sell him. We should have signed Auba the season Leicester won the league but we didn’t. Right player at the wrong time now. Honestly think if we kept Giroud and Walcott and never signed Auba we would be no worse off than where we are now.

I mean we spent 60m on Auba in January when he was cuptied in the only competition that could have brought us some success

Sell Auba and buy some facking midfielders

posted on 14/4/20

I would prefer to keep Auba but not if his demands are like Özil's wage or near or we get good money for him. It will his last big contract anyway.

Auba, Laca, Ozil, Xhaka, Torreira, Kola, Sokratis, Mustafi - in an ideal world we could bin all of these when football is on hiatus.

Time to just start all over again. Because the gap in playing football is going to be so huge, it’s going to be an almost fresh start for most clubs anyway. We need to make the best of this situation or fall even further behind the rest of the league.
