Two years is a good barometer of form.
You're confusing yourself with an ill thought question
two years in which Trent hasn't even been better than Alba isn't enough to say Trent is better than Alba, who's been one of the best fullbacks in the world for almost a decade now.
This isn't about trent v alaba.
Trent is a top full back and has proved it over two seasons, he's in the top ten in his position in the world.
They call him the Wahlster.
Plus you have to consider age here mate, the fact trent is putting up numbers he is at the age he is is exceptional.
You and I know Alaba was not doing that at. Trents age, so he plays in midfield for his country doesn't he?
He does I've seen him live play in midfield twice, great player to be fair.

Matt Doherty has scored 8 Premier League goals in the last 2 seasons. TAA has only scored 4 in the last 4 seasons.
