Whats the face about?

I'll do an Arsenal 11 of players I hate less.

David Seaman - The Tom Selleck of North London , Ferrari of a Gk ,very poor when shots from the halfway line ,had a stupid ponytail.

Tony Adams - Face like a slapped arssse but still gets on there purely for dropping Steve Morrow.

Igor Stepanovs - His man of the match performance against Utd at Old Trafford in the 2000/01 season was legendary.

Mikael Silvestre - The overriding memory of Silvestre is probably the evening when he headbutted Arsenal’s Freddie Ljungberg. The usual docile defender seemingly lost the plot when confronted with Mr Calvin Klein.

Sebastian Squillaci - was brought in for just £4 million and was expected to solidify the Arsenal defence.Squillaci was a full France international at the time and played well at his previous club Sevilla, but became famous for being a low-lite reel defender who often conceded calamitous mistakes.

Denilson -Will most likely be remembered by Arsenal fans as the player overtaken by the referee as he jogged back while Manchester United hit them on the break. They scored to make it 3-0.

Kim Kallstrom-He had a broken back when Arsenal signed him as emergency cover? How did he pass the medical ?

Philippe Senderos- Senderos was actually a good prospect who put in an impressive showing with the club. But after he suffered a dislocated shoulder against South Korea in the 2006 World Cup, things fell apart for him.

John Jensen—A signing which cost George Graham his job. The Danish holding midlfielder who starred in Denmark's Euro 1992 triumph is remembered for scoring his one goal for the club after around 100 games , looked like a 70s pawn star.

Park Chu Young-One of Wenger’s most bizarre signings ,it looked first it looked like a cynical ploy to sell more shirts in the Far East… but the former Monaco striker has been so rarely seen in an Arsenal shirt that even that makes little sense.

Kaba Diawara- Diawara was signed by Wenger in 1998. He spent only one season with the Gunners, playing 15 times and failing to find the net, mind you he did hit the woodwork. A lot.

The funny thing is we have both picked pretty bad XIs. Difference is you have generally picked the worst players Arsenal have had while I picked one of the strongest XIs you could for Spurs 😂

Anyone from the current squad?

Berbatov along with Hoddle are two Spurs players I could watch all day.

Quite correct, Graham liked a nice full brown envelope and it was the one containing £425,000 during the Jensen deal which got him sacked

Great article, DJ!

Only four stars though, as I'd have had that Geordie legend, David Ginola in there.

Probably instead of Sheringham who was, and still is, a complete

Remains a mystery how he was the only one punished. Clough, Fergie, Venables and others all took bungs but walked away scot free.
