Problem is decision making in this country, both from the football authorities and the Government is shockingly bad. So in the end they will just follow what others do. We always seem to be miles behind over here. Totally incapable of making any decisions.

Be interesting to see what the French league do about the Title and relegation issues

Yes, similar league position to the English leagues with 10 games left

It’s the only sensible outcome and just a matter of time for the PL. Can imagine the Pool fans will be disappointed as they arguably would’ve won the league without this interruption...but alas we’ll never know. Next year though hey. Chin up guys

We'll get it this year.

This is spot on!

The decision making has been terrible. The thing about us is that we are about 2 weeks behind those countries like Germany that are so much better prepared. If you compare their response from December onward compared to ours it's embarrassing. That's right, Germany were making preparations when there were reports of this disease from December, and ours started when? March?

From a football perspective it's the same, I don't understand why we are always the ones that have to be different.

Over the last 4 years the UK, England in particular has been a laughing stock. The brexit nonsense, the way we treat our public services, the whole Grenfel disaster, our response to this virus... We're a laughing stock and will be again when we allow football to resume... braindead fans will congregate outside stadiums or in pubs and there'll be another spike. Not to mention the safety of the players...

As a Leicester fan, I should be all for call it a day and going on points per game sporting merit.

However I really don’t like how Uefa are trying to make everyone dance to their tune.

Even though I shoots us in the foot, I would rather we forfeit all European places next season and finish this season properly, and in whatever way it’s needed.

That of course won’t happen, because money always speaks, so we’ll no doubt dance to the corrupt organisation’s tune.

I hope this season is not voided. That would be sacrilege in my eyes. Liverpool should be champions and the top 4 (or 5 if City aren’t included) put forward to champs league.

Relegation is the only eggy topic. The only way around this I can see is that the bottom 3 of the prem and top 3 of the championship have a play-off system to decide.

I agree.

It'll be very interesting to see what the French do as not only is it a similar number of games left also like the Prem they have a runaway leader.

Anybody heard when they are likely to decide?

If the European club competitions go ahead for the 20/21 season they are going to have some serious cramming in to do.

Remember the qualifiers for the Cl/Europa should start in July yet UEFA are expecting this seasons finals to take place in late August.

I think it would be sensible to have a year off (especially with the Euros at the end of the season) to help all countries fit their domestic campaigns into the time they have but I'm sure the money men won't want that.

There are only two outcomes. The league's finish, or they get voided. Any other ideas over awarding European spots or relegation on an incomplete season are nonsensical.

Yes Sandy

As has already been proved with the Dutch league you cannot have it both ways. They have null and voided everything except European qualification.

Utrecht are 6th 3 points off Willem in 5th (final Europa place) with a superior goal difference and a game in hand and are quite rightly threatening legal action.

Yup, trying to have different rules for the top and bottom of any league would be farcical.
