The 1905 English football bribery scandal was an event of corruption that surfaced at the conclusion of the 1904-05 football season. I hate this idea. If this happens then I'd rather United (assuming we qualified) declined to enter. And hopefully the other pl teams do the same.

None of us should be surprised at anything that comes from the minds of UEFA anymore, but even by their own standards this is an absolute clusterf-ck of an idea. You'd be forgiven for thinking this was originally meant to be published on the 1st April as an elaborate prank.

I knew City had been in trouble for paying their players a decent wage.

Pretty sure that the big teams in England are against it. I know SAF has spoken against it in the past. I think most fans would be against it too.
