Team 1, although I’d pay a lot of money to see Cantona and Rudd vs Stan and Vidic

I slightly edited the teams as at a second glance it was slightly lopsided

Think the new layout is more equal

Team 2. Ronaldo is still one of the best in the world and Rooney is still playing.

The rest are old and retired.

You've missed the backbone of the defensive pairing - Bruce and Pallister together.

Goalless draw as both teams look equally strong to me.

Far more goals in team 2 so Im going for that.

Any self respecting football fan would see how Carrick transformed our midfield when he joined and how important he was to our later success. As for our own fans slating him, we have some idiot fans like any fan base

He did win a CL (no way!) and was integral in getting us to three CL finals in 4 seasons

And he had one poor season. Ooooooh, scary.

You need to remember that the only reason we didn't beat the best Barca side of all time was because Fletcher was suspended. He was the best midfielder in the world at that point (if he wasn't playing)

He was a good footballer and great passer off both feet. He also lacked mobility, pace, struggled to nail down a position for five years and I could list at least five players who were more integral to Utd only winning one CL in 10 attempts during his time at Utd.
