I reckon the Tories are actually buzzing about this behind closed doors. Their party had been slowly dying out, but now thanks to social distancing we’ve got an entire generation of kids that haven’t been hugged enough or allowed to play with friends.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This.

Dependancy ratio down - good
NHS treated as a charity - good
Poor people and ethnics more likely to die - good
Hedge funds booming - good
Implementation of police state powers - good

Cumming and Johnson will be rubbing their greasy little hooves together.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And a few more decades of Austerity.

I literally did
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No you didn’t, you can’t just state something like it’s fact and say you proved it, you need to explain your point. But you can’t because you know what my friend did is hypocritical.

It’s like that song ‘Ironic’ where every example in the song isn’t actually ironic.

It is careless in one case.

However wanting a sociopolitical change doesn’t mean your values change if you ever break a rule, it also doesn’t make you a hypocrite.

But preaching to care so much about something, and then doing the very thing that that something doesn’t want you to do in order to protect it during its biggest crisis in a generation in a roundabout way is hypocrisy.

OP

Tories are to blame for the state of the NHS.

Your friends whilst not directly breaking the govt guidelines are bending them to suit their needs. I also have seen the droves flock to certain areas.

However I feel the lack of urgency and clout at dealing with this pandemic initially from the govt transcended down to many within the public leading to complacency.

He absolutely did break the rules.

What part of the extremely simple guidelines are people not getting?

I think this thread alone shows you how the guidelines have been interpreted in many ways. It’s the sheer, stay at home - but leave to exercise. What constitutes exercise in built up areas. Stay 6 feet apart, except when boarding public transport because that is simply not in force able due to dimensions entry points etc or better still go round shaking hands with sick people.

Starting to see what I mean.
