Lee Sharpe
Never gets mentioned anymore but was brilliant in my youth. Scored some great goals and was always worth watching
I know it ended ugly but I liked Heinze, good, committed player who never took any $hit from opponents

I loved him as well, definitely the 3rd best LB of the Fergie era.
Denis Irwin.
Brilliant player. Never mentioned when people put best United teams together. Or for that matter best PL sides.
Won a CL, multiple PL and FA cups.
Martin Buchan. Elegant class player.
Agree with Irwin, played longer than most seem to think as well.
Also think Paul Ince’s contribution to Utd’s PL rise is a little overlooked. Possibly because the next generation of midfielder was so iconic, or because he left under a bit of a cloud. Very good player for Utd at the time though.

I’ll be honest, I’ve seen him put in loads of United best elevens, Fergie himself even said he’d be the first name on any United team-sheet, he nicknamed him 8/10
I've often thought Mark Hughes is underrated. His hold up play was as good as any CF's i've seen, and scored great big goals. That goal in the 91 Cup final at the tight angle being one of them.

Who’s underrated him? He’s one of the best keepers to play the game.
David Herd
Gordon Hill
Steve Coppell
Pancho Pearson
Choccy
Mark Hughes
Bruce
Ronnie Johnson

When Fergie called him a big time Charlie it hit his legacy hard. Then he played for Liverpool.
Irwin is very underrated. Best FB in PL era imo.
Ronny Johnson. Was a solid defender just I jury prone.
John O'Shea. Never seen a player play so many positions.
