A depressing and totally avoidable statistic however you and your ilk try and spin it.
I don't know the politics of it all (we have our own issues with that over here !!!) but its scary how slow the UK was to get its shlt together re a lockdown having seen what happened in Italy & Spain. Its all relative but to have a death rate second only to the US (country of immigrants where mass air travel is way of life) when you consider the difference in the size of population is a fack up on the grandest scale

This is where we need decent journalists to step up and start asking the questions. I’ve only watched the 5pm brief maybe less than 10 times, but when I have the quality of questions asked by journos has generally been wasteful
