we'd really be starting to see improvements in the squad since Ole came in.

We have already seen huge improvements under Ole since he came in.

I think he will.

Hopefully he’s up for it.

Can’t wait to see the trio together in midfield.

He probably shouldn’t, but he will.

Depends which Pogba we get. If we see the Pogba we got in Ole’s first few months then he’s probably the 1st name on the team sheet.

No guarantee we will though.

I think he will come straight in and I am looking forward to it. As long as he’s putting the proper effort in etc

I think he will do that because he’d be mad not to. This is the most promising the team has been throughout his time here and also post Fergie.

I know it’s early and we’ve been prematurely excited before only to be disappointed but I have positives vibes with the way our team is heading and Pogba should take the gamble to stick with us (as long as he’s a positive influence). If we add Sancho for example, Pogba plays well and youngsters continue to develop I really feel our team will be a proper force within the next 2-3 years. It’s like 2005-2006, most of the ingredients are there just a little sprinkling of paprika and all of a sudden we have a very tasty dish.

McTominay needs to be in there ahead of Fred if that midfield is going to work.

I don’t necessarily agree. While I wouldn’t go to Anfield or the Etihad with just those 3 in midfield they could cause havoc against the lesser sides.

Needs more than just effort. He has to start using his brain too, learn to play simple passes instead of doing silly things, be more aware tactically. Needs to put in a defensive shift at times too.

Yeah I agree with that he can be silly at times. I think Fernandes will be a great influence and if the team continues to improve and gain more consistency, it tends to snowball.

I think (hope) you will see the influence of SAF here. Not direct influence but from Ole's experience of him as a manager.
That means the route back is there for Pogba, but he will have to show he is committed to Ole and the squad.
Otherwise Ole needs to be strong enough not to play him every week

There is absolutely no way we are going to line up like that.

If he does come back in, he’ll be playing in a two man midfield pivot with either McT or Fred.

Bruno will continue to play right up with the central striker.

He’s crap as part of a two though. If we are going use him we need to ensure we get the best of him. That means adjusting the formation..

The midfield in the OP is crying out for Partey to partner Pogba in the pivot.

On a separate note, Pogba will definitely return, he's clearly one of Ole's favourite players and we've been schit all season. Regardless of our form over the last 11 games, we've still only won 3 out of our last 5 league games. We don't have the luxury of leaving out our best players.

Pogba has to be the most overpriced over hyped player ever in The Premier League. Has more influence on social media than football now.

Could work with two top quality fullbacks providing a threat from wide positions, we don’t have any.

Re-sign Young for the right and Baines, who is a free agent in the summer, for the left.

Job done.

French people probably disagree.

With the right players around him, it can work.

People always look to having Kante, which is fair... But it is also players further forward that can make life easier too, where he can pass his way out of trouble.

Contrast having Griezman there to receive a pass with lingard.

If he comes straight back into the side I want to see two things:

1) That he’s consistently more valuable than either of McT and Fred in the double pivot, and that means defensively as well as offensively

2) That he’ll demonstrate, every game he plays, the same discipline and desire as McT and Fred do every week.

And absolutely no less than that. I do not want to see the other players carrying Pogba, ever. Period.

We don’t have top quality fullbacks though, not in an attacking sense both are highly limited.
