Could have been Arsenal Greats.

Thinking about Santi, if he had been played as a CM from the off, and had a suitable partner from the off, he could have had a greater Arsenal career. Will be fondly remembered, but could have been so much more without the injuries.

Hleb? Always liked him. Made a massive mistake in moving to Barca when they had that midfield trio.

Nasri lol. Was never that good

Fàbregas RVP and Santi are the only ones that spring to mind. And Ramsey if he didn’t let the fame get to his head

Nasri had a lot of quality. Very highly rated at Marseille. Team of the year in 2010/11. City paid a lot for him.

Yeah, never that good

Maybe Ramsey? I remember when he was in the form of his life, and then he got injured and never regained that form again.

Nasri was very good and could’ve potentially became WC but his personal life and attitude proper let him down. Plus he looks like a lesbian

Diaby.

Diaby was a player

Ramsey, a bit like Cazorla, is hard to judge as he still had a very good Arsenal career.

Not sure Fabregas is a fair shout, as he will be remembered as a great of his time (in terms of Arsenal). A bit like Liam Brady, not a lot of club honours to show, but a lot of personal accolades for his time at the club.

Diaby is definitely one, although I have doubts on his personality. Not sure he had the winners mentality someone like Vieira had. We will never know, largely to a telemarketer named Dan Smith.

Both Nasri and Ramsey had very brief spells where they were probably the best player in the league at that one time.

Hleb was responsible for the Crop Circle phenomenem, the amount of times he went round in circles without going anywhere.

Personally wouldn't have put Nasri on the list. Not that I dislike him as much as much Gooners, just that it's not like he really kicked on after leaving us. Think we actually saw the best of him tbh. Just that he had much better players around him once he joined City.

Diaby is one I'd put in there. Wilshere too. Rosicky is the one for me though (post-Highbury). But for his injuries, I'm convinced the mid-late period Wenger years would've have reaped some success.

Hleb is massively underrated by some Arsenal fans. Not sure why really. Not he was only really ever likely to be the oil, rather than the driving force of that particular midfield engine.

Probably maybe wouldn’t have been greats but my favourite two arsenal players to watch just for their style of play were Kanu and Diaby

Gallas?

Brilliant defender at his peak

Shitshow of a player for us.

One of Wenger's worst signings for Arsenal IMO

Diaby had the ability to replace Vieira, I have no doubts over that. Unfortunately the bad injury he suffered set him back and he could never overcome it - with many injuries after it.

^Great for Chelsea though of course.

Gallas will always be remembered as a stroppy captain who cried on the halfway line as we faced a penalty.

He never looked like he would be a great player for us, although had good spells. That incident against Birmingham ended any hopes he would be remembered fondly by Arsenal fans.

Worst thing was it looked like a decent swap deal at the time. We had Clichy coming waiting in the wings, and needed to replace Campbell.

What could possibly go wrong..?
