The Deloitte investigation proved that

It proved nothing. was purely a timeline nothing else. The remit of the investigation was unbelievably narrow
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, it did clear up one part. That the email from Dundee went through quarantine and not into a spam folder, and wasn’t seen by any member of the SPFL staff until after Dundee had asked for it to be ignored.

Which again still raises questions as to why it wasn't checked for so long. Should have been first thing they checked when Dundee told them it was sent. Mental.

I am also still a bit dubious on how their quarantine works when apparently they have been receiving threats from the public.

Billymcstancherson1690@orange.com gets through but Dundee employees are on the blacklist. Mental

Pleas ffs they had 42 votes to count my fookin wean could sort that

I get that, Zach.

The mitigation being the vote not being taken at a physical meeting, maybe for the first time en masse?

The speed of the requested response - ND has admitted should not have been so quick.

Nelms telling Drysdale to submit it from goodness knows email account as all working from home.

SPFL allowing 2 different email accounts to submit the vote.

The pdf conversion of Nelms photo.

If you find out let me know cos I still have whitelisted senders and domains go into my spam without specific rules set up to do so. An old outlook version right enough.

What specific talent we talking about?

Running at defenders?

Any defender will tell you that is their biggest nightmare.

What else?

Oh aye, fook all. A defender's dream opponent.

It is company law that a no vote on a resolution can be changed. A yes vote can’t. I’m struggling to understand why anyone can keep with this narrative when it’s been clarified beyond any doubt. These so called chairmen running these companies should at least understand what is legal and what isn’t, regardless of whether it’s the answer they want or not.

Also not voting at all in considered as a vote for any resolution put forward.

Ignorant gits. No excuse for not accepting this by now.

Perhaps because not everyone is that tech savvy to think along those lines?

Hindsight is always a great thing-‘but why didn’t you think about that at the time?!’ is always a great one to throw back in someone’s face, but maybe that just didn’t occur to them.

Said before-I can get stuff going direct to my ‘focused’ inbox from folk I’ve never heard of before, stuff to my ‘other’ inbox that I deal with regularly, stuff going to spam that shouldn’t be there at all, and stuff that goes to quarantine that I only get notified about twice a day from people I deal with regularly!!

If you don’t want to believe it’s possible, then you won’t believe it. If you don’t want to believe that an independent auditor said that’s what happened, then that’s up to you as well.

400k a year can’t organise 42 votes
Seems like he may be some way off his KPI’s at his next appraisal
This will be hanging about for years clubs will be at one another’s throats
Had they organised the vote properly we may have moved on by now
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe speak to Hearts, as they weren’t even able to make sure they sent their vote in for 5.

Or ask your manager, Derek McInnes...

And if it had got through 1st time fook all would be different other than we'd have been in limbo viz. the lower teams getting money.

- Nelms could still change his vote to a yes.
- As could the other championship No clubs.
- All were in the position of king makers if they wanted.
- Pressure from the lower league skint clubs

Tech savvy?

It's an obvious thing you would check if you were doing something by email on a deadline.

Theses people are paid 10 times what I am. it's pure incompetence.

FFS, higher pay does not equate to being tech savvy. Else why would any company need tech people - the directors can do it all.

Folk annoyed by the SPFL releasing the result, but not annoyed by clubs releasing statements detailing their vote and why they voted the way they did.

Folk not annoyed by clubs colluding over their vote and the timing of their vote, but want to discuss what constitutes bullying.

Scarfy or what.

Depends what is in the procedure relating to this

All of them
None of them

Or maybe not even relevant to the audit scope
I’ve not seen the scope document

No-that’s what you want to believe.

The reality is that it more than likely wouldn’t cross someone’s mind if they don’t normally deal with that.

I know that’s reality because I’ve done it after I had the quarantine system in place for nearly 18 months and had asked the person to send the same email 3 times!!

Sometimes, the most obvious answer isn’t always the most palatable.

You don't need to be tech savvy though is my point.

He is paid to plan. Planning to check that should have been obvious. He doesn't have to do it himself lol.
