Haven't been off ffs. My company brought everyone back in last week and sent them on furlough again. You have to furlough for 3 weeks minimum so I'll be on my lonesome again until 1st of June, I'd imagine.

I have worked throughout this.

Going to have loads of holiday days for the second half of the year though.

The people who come back off furlough will likely have the same amount of holidays as they continue to accrue.

I'm basically working my ass off for 20%, whilst people enjoy being at home doing nothing for 80% and even then, I have the same holidays as they do.

I'm taking a bloody week when they come back.

Not missed a minute throughout this.

Work in the only sector who basically never gets a mention in all of this - manufacturers deemed essential from the start.

But aye shout out to all the truck drivers keeping all those goods moving that come from the magic essential goods fairy...….

Do you want praise?

I know a lot of people like myself who haven't missed a days work but that is just down to the nature of whatever you do.

I would be working but as there is no child care I got put on furlough. Noises being made about being called in next week but still no childcare next week so feck knows what will transpire.

You’re needed to stick 2m gapped gaffer tape all over the floor for people to ignore.

You should then be put on leave. Furlough is for employers who would otherwise have had to pay you off, without the scheme.

And if I worked for a reasonable boss that's what would happen but if frogs had wings they wouldn't bang their bums while they moved.

I've had 1 day off since February, been working from home since 16th March and will be until 1st September indefinitely.

Fully expecting to be WFH until 2021 though.

Those new measures in England are dangerous and will cause thousands of deaths. I'd say i'm surprised but i'd be telling lies.

To say people should be actively encouraged back onto construction sites from Wednesday is ridiculous.

Thankfully in Scotland we'll rightly maintain a stricter lockdown until the end of the month which is the sensible and safest option.

I have been WFH since March 13th March and have not had a a day off this year bar weekends.

I am off next Monday hopefully playing golf.

Like NNH expect to be doing this long term

Just seen a photo of the tubes and roads in and around London.

Insane, i actually dread to think how many will die in the next few weeks because of this.

Do I want praise? Strange direction to go with that.....

No of course I don't want 'praise' but I do think my staff, like any other staff who have worked through, should at least be acknowledged every now and then.

Point is there are multiple sectors frequently being mentioned and there are other sectors constantly being omitted.

Manufacturing is hardly a niche area which cant be readily acknowledged yet I have never once heard it being mentioned throughout this.

We have remained open due to direct government guidance from DEFRA and BEIS. And despite putting various measures in place we have had to ask staff to take a level of risk in doing so.

And it is particularly difficult when they see friends staying at home every day keeping safe. Particularly those on furlough who are getting paid to do so.

I am just saying it would be nice if they got a mention and felt their efforts were appreciated by the people they are helping. Anything that could have a positive effect on morale would be welcome.

Think Johnson doesn't want people to dwell on the figures and wants people to talk about something else . He's prepared to gamble people's lives on it .

Spot on

It's only the peasants that need to return to work, the important people can work from home.
