Makes you wonder why they scrapped the Olympics and the Euros if bringing back Premier League football is as simple as some people are making out.

“ If there are rules in place and those clubs abide by the rules and vote against a restart behind closed doors at neutral grounds then it's the rule makers at fault.”

Well the reasons for clubs down the bottom have given are a load of shiite. They are voting so they can stay in the league and earn hundreds of millions next season.

The Olympics have been postponed, the Euros are due to take place in 2021.

Are any of The PL, players, clubs, fans who support project restart, comfortable knowing that there will be a high number of regular, privately conducted Covid 19 tests made available to test elite sportsmen, whilst front line NHS workers who tend to infected people on a daily basis struggle to even get appointments to tests for themselves and their immediate families, due to a lack of availability?

Why should 17 clubs lose out for the 3 that go down?

They are totally within their rights to vote whichever way they seem fit.

Whether that's to their benefit and to others detriment makes no difference.

Be honest, if Liverpool were down there you wouldn't be banging the drum about fairness if there was a chance of weazling out of it.

I don't think that's the point.

The point is, can you really blame them for doing everything they can to avoid relegation?

I think it'll go ahead anyway... if they choose to protest then they'll lose points and end up fighting a pointless legal battle whilst in the Championship, and they know it.

Well first of all the Olympics and Euros require international travel.

Domestic league games don’t.

well given the PL and teams are paying for test already contributed to the NS, nothing wrong with them investing in their own testing centers to be set up. Also some of the drive through test centers are not being used. The lack of tests is not a capacity issue, it's a complacency issue.

I do want the season completed just like I assume that you want the FA Cup and the European competitions to be completed so we get the full package.

I don't get how some people don't understand the view of neutral venues. I think Brighton, for example, have a fair point on saying that they have already played City, Liverpool, a United etc away and now have them on a home fixture that would not have the same home advantages that rivals would have. They have played the most difficult games away and will not get a home advantage in the return fixture. I think they have a reason to feel aggrieved.

But it seems that it will go ahead so at least we get some football back. Won't be the same but better than nothing. But I don't think it's fair to be honest

It’s better than not finishing the league and voiding it so 3 clubs don’t get relegated.

Them 3 clubs have had 29/30 games to get themselves out of the position they are. Those arguing home advantage/playing with fans being an advantage miss one thing. They’ve had home games this season and not used that advantage. The bottom 3 clubs have won 13 home games out of 41 played.

Think integrity is lost of you let a minority of teams, with their non sporting agendas, decide the fate of the league.
