rightful champions

13 points clear and only the most deluded of bears would suggest that we would lose half of our last 8 games while they win all theirs.

Strange to say of course but the nine-in-row title given the recent shenanigans is a bit of an anti-climax. Well done to Lenny, his coaches and the players for creating their bit of footballing history. Well deserved of course and now that all SPFL clubs have voted to award it that must mean that all of them are content with that decision.

Got a feeling there will be twists and turns yet?

Just want it over one way or another, for or against, got boring, for me anyway, a while back

But it's Scotland, so who knows what will happen?

See no matter what there were going to be bell ends saying it doesn't count - either as it was cut short or because there was too big a gap and it affected things blah blah

We deserved it.
Average points - deserved it
Weighted average points for away wins - thrashed it
Goals scored - thrashed it
Recent form - thrashed it

There was no fairytale coming fro Rangers. They celebrated at New Year and lived to regret it

So Rangers started the Corona Virus to stop Celtic winning 9 in a row, the rotters.

Lenny does deserve a lot of credit for this, I was one of his critics when he was initially appointed.

Although when do we celebrate? Do we just get pashed at home or wait until the lockdown's finished or both?

I'm pretty sure I haven't missed a title winning game in these last 9 seasons but this one will leave me feeling a bit flat in all honesty.

The day or night when you win it is always a good one. This season it'll be a day of work and back home with no change to the structure of my life as it is right now and nobody around me to really "celebrate" it with.

Huge let down. Nobody's fault but is is what it is.

Absolutely mate.
Winning titles has to be celebrated with your mates in a wild orgie of alcohol and bumming.

See I understand where you are coming from but for me winning 9 was no different from 5,6,7 or 8. It was a title win. We have celebrated lots of title wins but in my opinion this is just a part of a bigger journey - a romantic journey if you like - towards 10. You won't remember many of the title celebrations but you'll sure as hell remember the 10.

Obviously none of us wanted Coronavirus but if it was going to impact the 10 at least it didn't impact next season's title celebrations

Remains to be seen

If the grotty little ginger ferret has her way; you guys will all still be in deep lockdown while Scotland and its way of life disintegrates before your very eyes as see through the tiny and narrow slits in your bunkers.

There

I've started it all off again and I'm glad I have

got to agree with Ginger as much I feel do we deserve it I always feel that it won't properly feel like a title win without actually winning it

even if we were to continue behind closed doors and win it, it still would always be that season with the Coronavirus

I'm more worried about being able to get into grounds to cheer us on to 10

It makes you wonder why Rangers voted for this if all of the hullaballoo with the SPFL was purely because Rangers didn't want Celtic to be given the title?

It was all nothing more than an extreme act of staunchness aimed at playing to the fans.

Well that's what we were being told anyway...…..

I wonder what Billy McStaunch will think when he finds out his beloved club voted for celtic to be given the title if the season couldn't be played out?

In turn I wonder what people will think now that the a Championship club Chairman has come out and categorically stated (by referring to his notes) that this all started off as a plot between ICT, Hearts and Rangers to have the league voided?

Seems to have been missed that

Do we think they will have the Scottish cup played to start the comeback into football? Would be nice to complete the treble.
Maybe do something radical like have the two semis on a Wednesday, final on the Sunday since it is unlikely that we will have fans at the stadium anyway?

I'd like to think so. Will all depend upon when we can restart as I'm not convinced the clubs have the money to play games behind closed doors with all the additional costs they will have along with no fans revenue.

And during a time when this second wave is most likely to hit

Eh, i think it was clear Rangers wanted it voided if you believe Ex Gers man Dave MacKinnon.

A ploy from Hearts, ICT and Rangers.

Rangers have accepted it now because they don't want to be publicly humiliated, again.

Make no mistake though, the ICT chairman has been caught red handed and his ties to Rangers and Hearts make it every bit as underhand as the so called missing Dundee vote

But this vote was before the egm vote.

If the egm is only about voiding then why accept this beforehand?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was difficult to know what the EGM was for with all of the statements being released

I think at the EGM they didn't know what they were there for. This smoking gun evidence disappeared quickly.

Oh but wait there was no EGM - apparently

We kept getting told it was about voiding. Its all a ploy to stop celtic getting the title and play the gallery. Yet if this is agreed before between the spfl premiership the vote was dead before it happened.

It might make you wonder why Aberdeen and Livingston voted yes.
