prefer Coronation Street TBH than German football without fans. What's the point?

it's still football with or without the fans. still the 3 points to play for and the millions watching around the world. it would be better with fans but it's still good and would be more meaningful if it was our teams playing.

I'm with you 100%. It would be preferable to be able to attend the game, obviously. But at the end of the day, I love the sport. If I didn't, the last thing I'd want to do is attend a game. So I think there are big limitations to the argument that the game itself isn't viable behind closed doors. Particularly when we're seeing more and more sports attempting to return, with similar criteria applied.

And much as I'm far from being a fan of yourselves or Liverpool, I'd like to see the season, completed if it can be done safely. That's the big question mark obviously. But with the testing that they're getting, it's safer than the average person being asked to go back to work imo. Which is happening more and more, and has been endorsed by our PM

Football without fans is dead. No point tbh. It’s only being played for money. Might as well sim the season and base results on some computer algorithm to predict likely results based on previous.

It is only being played for money, I agree. It isn't being played without fans though. It's just being played without fans within the stadium. And the importance of home advantage has statistically eroded over the years anyway. It's become a cliche.

But I digress. If (and when) the PL and La Liga resume, don't watch a single minute. Otherwise you'll be a hypocrite

So any football without fans has no point? Including your local team, youth football etc? Bit of a weird view. It’s being played because it’s their job and part of the business, so obviously it’s about money.

I think it’s kinda weird some football fans insinuate they only find football worthy of watching when there’s fans, and not just when there’s football being played. Less enjoyable, sure, but ‘no point’? I’m surprised some can only enjoy football on this kind of superficial level.
