To be fair it will be boring, there is little to play for now and no team is going to be at their peak. It’s gonna be like a weird pre season tournament.

I agree 100% it really does take a lot away from the game but it’s better than no football

It’s not ideal by any means but it’s vital to finish the season off by playing football, if that means no fans, neutral grounds, players missing then so be it

Sandy and Morgan in the same title seems so right.

Your best article to date 👍

I don't think it is that bad personally. I've watched some of the German football this weekend and whilst of course its not as good without the fans, but players look glad to be out there and Dortmund played yesterday like they haven't been away.

I was sceptical and was expecting a kind of pre-season/training match feel to it and whilst not having the atmosphere takes a lot away, its not like the game is being played at walking speed. I think all the players are glad to be back and are taking it very seriously actually.

Nothing to play for your sheitee mess, but Wolves and Sheffield Utd have the chance of their lives to get Champions League football next season.

Yeah those 2 teams do, shame about the other 18

Would all those who are taking the moral high ground and saying football should restart accept a star player catching covid-19 because of the restart.

Would you also find it acceptable if a star player ends up in intensive care. What if they get it so severe and they cannot play the game anymore or worse still die.

Would they accept it as still being worthwhile if that star player was from there club.

If so then let em play and don't fooking start crying if Salah,Mane,VVD etc turns out to be that player.

Those of us deemed as being morally bankrupt in all of this don't want to see any players suffer until it is safe to play.

I'm sure that some people who take this stance have good intentions. The issue that most are instead motivated by their own agenda, or the agenda of their club, prefering pettiness and then trying desperately to justify it.

People never pass up an opportunity to let you know when you've made a sharticle, so it's only fair that you get the same level of recognition for making a fantasticle.

Wolves played European Cup football, when Liverpool were a 2nd division side, so hardly the chance of their lives. They have been there and done it way before Liverpool.

Ah right so once you've done it once, who cares about doing it again.

You're so stuck in the 70's and 80's, what about the current players at Wolves who haven't played CL football but want to now?

Good article, VJ. I watched the RB Leipzig game, Werner looks good, I thought that, in our team he would defo play at a higher personal level.

With the potential re-opening of the PL we are stepping in to completely uncharted territory. Anything can happen. Imagine any of our team or squad, in extreme any of the front three being taken down by this nightmare, post-training, bringing into question the health of the whole squad. A nightmare indeed.

Here’s hoping all goes well.
