My conclusion from this is that there are no good sports movies. You could change the title to "Worst Sports Movies" and then whoever comes last on that list wins. Instead of pretending that any are good. I haven't seen any of those on your list to be fair. I could have just not commented.

The Blind Side??

posted on 19/5/20

Watched Mike Bassett the other night for the first time in years.

Fantastic scene in which he was noting the starting XI on the back of a cigarette box.

On match day was shocked to learn that two third division players (aged 44, & 47) Dave Benson, and Michael Hedges had received call ups to the England side

I’ve never seen the Blind Side Tbf. I keep clicking past it so might sit down and watch it today.

Rob,

Are you accepting tenuous nominations such as hooligan films or rom coms based around sport/sportsman?

So that's how Ricky Lambert got an England cap. All makes sense now

Coach Carter was decent.

Not a film but The Last Dance was very good.

Hard to believe a film franchise (Ducks) lead to the creation of the NHL's Anaheim Ducks!
