Top 5 in no order

Christoper Nolan's one of my favourites:
In no particular order
1. Memento
2. The Dark Knight
3. Insomnia
4. Inception
5. Interstellar
I assume Tenet will also make that list, as I have no idea what's going on in the trailer.
ive always liked Clint Eastwood as a director.
guy ritchie has to be up there for me too.
Steven Soderbergh and Paul Greengrass.
Peter Grrenaway
Ridley Scott
I don't get why every time movies are on here it's always Hollywood
.You're our movie expert robb, but never anything British for some reason.
Walter Hill and Hal Ashby are a couple that are great that don’t get enough love.
There’s a very good Arena episode on Nicholas Roeg on iPlayer, great director.

And British
Cohen brothers have made more great movies than bad.
Tarantino, Nolan and Scorsese are probably my three favourite directors since most of my favourite films were made by them.
Nolan is up there. The Dark Knight Trilogy for me is still the best superhero movies.
Christopher Nolan was the only Director to have me enjoy a Superman film as well, he’s one of my least favourite superheroes too!
Michael Mann is decent too
The poor sound of Bane speaking ruined the finale for me. Shockingly bad.
Tbf Danny Boyle also should have made my list although he peaked with Shallow Grave and Trainspotting

Massive Batman fan, however the third movie was poor.
Definitely had far more potential to be a great.
If you really like a film, the chances are, it’s primarily down to the script.
But when it comes to the art of Direction, I’d say:
Sergio Leone
Soderbergh
Hitchcock
Kurosawa
John Ford
Ridley Scott
Ridley Scott is the better director but I (did) enjoy the movies of Tony Scott more.
Top Gun
Man on Fire
Last Boy Scout
The Hunger
True Romance
Enemy of the State
