I can't stand McCoist in the slightest. His managerial reign soured him for me personally. Hopefully he's no longer going to be on now the BT deal is over.
I don't watch Sportscene overly much but whenever I do Thompson just seems as dull as dishwater.
Mjallby is probably one of the better pundits tbh.
Anyone who has played for either of the OF has to have their "views" taken with a hefty pinch of salt. Of course they're going to have a degree of being partisan.
Most of them however are capable of giving decent football punditry and at least causing debate. Sutton, McCoist, Rae and the likes fall into that category.
The likes of DJ were too much in their teams mould that they just can't believe some of the stuff going on and have an in built refusal to accept what is sometimes staring them in the face. Can't blame them for that really.
Worth remembering Derek Johnstone predicted Celtic would win 0 trophies this season and Rangers would win the doubles
