Not wrong, perhaps, but the ship sailed long ago when the English man in the street followed the ‘murcan’s penchant for ‘personality’ over gravity.
I think he has always been work shy and this past couple of months have just been too much for him.
I doubt any politician could handle this well.
Intelligent people know not to go into politics.
Its why I stayed out of it.

That and your writing skills
His communication skills? Have they watched him try and speak coherently for longer than ten seconds?
My sister (a consultant doc who’s had Covid-19 herself, along with hubby and son) reckons BoJo might well still be struggling to fully recover health-wise. Can take months for some. Or he could just be having a mare. I suspect a bit of both, but who knows?
Not sure what people expect here.
Nobody can cope with this level of stress over such a long and consistent period of time and that’s without not long coming out of ICU.
Christ almighty; he and his cabinet have made some awful decisions but they’ve also made some incredible ones.
There’s always some smart rse waiting in the wings to snipe away with the benefit of hindsight while contributing the square root of fwck all.
I misread title, thought this was a thread about the lesser seen Bayo.
It was essential': No 10 breaks silence to defend Dominic Cummings' 250-mile trip during lockdown whilst being infected with Covid-19

Covid has knocked boris for six, physicaly and politically.
He is literally not fit to be PM, and am no raving commie, comrades😠
If you don't do anything at all then you can't be held accountable for something. It's why he did nothing in the election campaign and just won by default cos the other guys were saying stuff. Boris didn't say a thing wrong in that election campaign. He didn't say anything. But he didn't say a thing wrong (probably did by I wasn't paying attention). It's like a football manager not turning up to games and his team losing their games but he isn't to blame cos he didn't attend the matches.
You can't call Boris a bad leader, because we don't know what he is like as a leader. He might be good. We don't know. Maybe they're protecting us from his leadership because it would be TOO good. Maybe.

Stupid nonsense is what you've written if we're going to be blunt here. Nobody? So leaders like Angela Merkel have just crumbled and hidden away from public too then...
To your point of awful and incredible decisions? What incredible decisions - furlough for instance is a no brainer if they have an ounce of credibility. These and other decisions do not out way, for instance:
- Missing multiple Cobra meetings
- Cheltenham continuing as usual
- Bragging about shaking hands with Covid-19 patients
- False claims around PPE and test numbers
These aren't hindsight. We had a two month head start and countries like Germany for example took it seriously. Even to this day, the "stay alert" rumblings were stupidly explained and we continue failing to test anywhere near an acceptable amount.
BoJo himself has shown to be a poor leader. It's literally UK's version of Trump - people voting for leaders like a Big brother show for entertainment.
This country is rudderless, it's a fecking shambles.
The latest wheeze to have a 14 quarantine just puts the top hat on a government who haven't got a clue.
Boris wanted the top job so he could play at being Churchill, instead he has turned into Chamberlain and a poor one at that.

Aye ok
Fwck off if you think Johnson or any politician wouldn’t suffer with this stress after being hospitalised and near death.
Why you chose to type out the rest of your political piish is both beyond anyone’s comprehension and the point I raised.
Apparently Boris is struggling to get Carrie to give him a blow-j0b since the baby arrived....
I propose Gingertesticles to take her place.

What?
Sorry but the suggestion that “no one” could deal with this doesn’t sit comfortably with countries and leaders who have actually dealt with it relatively well. Ardern and Sanna Marin right off the bat as I’ve family in both countries have dealt with the situation better. Could reasonably argue sturgeon also.
Maybe he deliberately got Covid to get sympathy and get out of doing his job. Lazy tories never want to do a day's work in their life and want everything handed to them.

Under “normal” circumstances I’d agree; but having not long left ICU and near death with a virus that has (as we understand) long lasting affects?
It’s just not the same at all as these other leaders. I’m not excusing the awful decisions that have been made under his leadership. I’m merely pointing out why we’ve seen far less of him which was just answering the OP.
Also adding in that it’s easy for anyone to find fault in hindsight while contributing nothing themselves. Christ, even I can do that.

Yes we do and thankfully we’ve armies of stupid cwnts all too willing to do it for us in their pathetic attempts to try and outdo their equally stupid neighbours the Jones’s.
I think the majority of the “boss by hugo” examples were before he fell ill. I’d be much more comfortable if he had said he would take longer off. If he is unfit (in a health context) to lead, then he is unfit to lead.
