If she is not invited that is a disgrace, her voice is Scotland's voice, trusted how? no one allowed to talk about the meeting until Boris bumbles about it, why? is it an equal union? nah is it fook in that regard, all things must protect London and its wealth even if that means folk are sacrificed for banks and billionaires, away to fook.

She is invited.
And on that point it was noticeable that Johnson took some flak for not attending a number of them; but not our lovely wee Nic. Oh no. She didn’t attend many either btw.

If Boris is as ill as you believe, then he should have stood aside and let someone else take control. He’s been well enough to attend PM questions, so I don’t know how he’s not been well enough to attend more of the daily updates than he has. Sturgeon, as an example, I don’t think has missed one.
Personally, I don’t rate him. I think he has questionable ethics (both work and personal), he’s been nothing more than a figure of fun for years (his appearances on HIGNFY for example), and the fact that he is now either being derelict in his duty to the country by not speaking to us directly, or he’s been negligent in not admitting he’s not fit to hold office.
I avoid these kind of threads as much as I can, as they really are poor. I always defend anyone for their right to have their own political stance and view, but I cannot see any defence of Johnson in this.

He's a spiv, nothing more, a complete charlatan.
As I said (umpteen times ffs) he and they have made some awful mistakes. And they in turn have cost lives.
👏👏👏
And that Sir, is precisely my point. Incompetent rseholes. 👍
It's as simple as this: Through incompetence or inaction Boris Johnson and his Government are to blame for the deaths of thousands of people.
Why did Scotland vote to remain part of a union that basically couldn't give a toss about anything north of Birmingham...

We sh@t it.
Some of us voted with our team.
The unresolved issue of currency was the decider for a lot of people.
I was disgusted that day. Even more so the more I read the news now.

Someone on here calculated the cost of a life to be approx. £10m. I can’t remember the calculation basis.
Two extra weeks of furlough would have cost £6bn. The impact to the economy is being estimated as £12bn a week if it was averaged through the year. So £30bn total for the two weeks equates to 3,000 lives equivalent saved by delaying the two weeks?
No idea if plausible.

I never! I just blame the bunch of old scared people.
you should lose the vote when you retire!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope. I'm old and voted for independence, as long as there is hole in my erse I will never vote Tory and genuinely think there is a better way for people to live. My first rule would be - everybody pays their taxes. Don't pay or fiddle them? Then you don't get access to the benefits the rest of us have paid for. This includes all firms/businesses- you want to make profit from here - then you pay your taxes here. No offshore registration allowed. You want that? Fe k off there then.
