I didn't fully appreciate seaman until I was a bit older. I didn't really know much about seaman at that age. My friend used to rub it in my face a few years later. I've never lived it down.

I always find it interesting that free speech on the internet often comes with poor spelling. I earn enough to be able to afford more expensive speech, which comes with punctuation and correct grammar. You'd think someone would create some open source free speech where it was free but still had coherent sentences. Or maybe people only say they are using free speech because they are using speech which may actually be costly. Not to themselves but at the cost of others. Maybe it's not free at all.

As my mother once said to me "nothing in life is free, I'll tell you that for free". That's the philosophy I've lived by since.
