The Western Super Mare decision is a clinical one. It’s not that they don’t have the room; it’s that they don’t want other patients catching it there.

But it’s just a virus?! Why should they be concerned about other patients catching it?!

Fvcking snowflakes. Never mind sending them to hospital, they should send them back down the mines! We’ve got an economy to get moving again!

Everybody at the last election knew who Cummings was he was the man behind the get brexit done slogan

He’s been working closely with Gove and co for years

He’s also the man that said we’ll go for here immunity who cares if a few pensioners die in the process
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know, you know, every One on here knows.

He's been pretty well known for years. People still voted Tory.

That's my point.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
That’s exactly right
The majority are entrenched in view

Those against the government will still be and have the stage
Those for might be quiet but won’t have changed voting intentions

The floating vote will be moving against Boris but in a week or 2 another issue will come up and they will decide again

The noisy anti SNP folk were as tribal when it was the CMO who steeped out of line
Her head on a stake was the only solution

Similar now with Boris

People for the most part didn’t stop supporting SNP
And will tell you it was not as bad
The other tribe whoever try are always worse

This cummings character should go Whether he does or not will change very little though

What on earth is this?

Yes it’s a virus. People catch viruses. They’re prevalent in hospitals and care homes. You remove other patients who are not suffering from any virus and who are vulnerable from that environment.

Good grief. Is that so unpalatable to agree with?

It was in response to your previous post. Clearly, this is more than just a wee virus. Unless the whole world is overstating it?!

I completely understand that all this has to be paid for, and that the economy has to get moving again, but I’m not so sure constantly banging the drum about money will win over many right now.

Yup.

The only people who matter in any election are floating voters.

As the country becomes more and more polarised and, basically, dumb even the floating voters won't matter any more.

As long as Boris doesn't take a dump on the flag or start letting the pesky foreigners back in he'll romp the next election.

The only way that won't happen is if some genuine TV star stands against him. Cowell won't run so it would need to be Ant and Dec and they're basically busy running the country.

I don’t actually mind the head person being charismatic rather than astute
What they must be is clever enough to know their limitations and use those of greater intellect to guide on anything more serious than what they eat at breakfast

Think Reagan not the sharpest but fully aware he wasn’t
Then we have the Donald completely unaware he is not the brightest

Boris is heading for the latter

But as in the good old US of A I doubt it will make a difference

That's 21st century Britain.
There's people that will fight for the right to conga.

People who don't Conga themselves but will die defending the right of others to conga.

Then there's people who aren't in either of the first groups and are about to find themselves social pariahs as conga becomes compulsory.

No, you’re correct-what you said was: ‘ The bill is starting to add up. It’ll not be long before we get to the stage of asking yet again “what the fwck were we thinking of that made us try and hide from a virus for so long?”’

I was paraphrasing. Sorry.

And to be honest, I hope that’s not how we look at it. I hope we look back and think how did we not manage to save more lives?! Why did we not lockdown earlier? Why did we keep allowing so many flights into the country?! What happened in the care homes?? I’d rather we looked at it that way.

What makes it even easier to win now is that Labour are even less of a force than they were under Corbyn, and that’s some going.

Certainly they will have a dyed in the wool hardcore voters but I’m even a lot of them will be changing their minds.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a less relevant Labour Party in my life.
