APOLOGIES SHOULD BE DEMANDED

So Mr Cummings, right hand man to Boris Johnson who also contracted the disease, is allowed to freely go wherever he wishes? Its not about the fact that he didn't break any guidelines, its the ethics behind it. You can't have 60M people in this country doing one thing, whilst he does off and does another.

He wasn't tested, he didn't have it and he seemed to think that he did a full 260 mile, 6 hour trip with his young child without stopping off? And then 10 minutes into the journey back down he needed to stop off at Barnard Castle and just have a bit of a play? Then tried claiming he didn't know he was noticed? All smells like my dogs backside to be honest, open your eyes please.

That's your argument? That Cummings said it was lega?

https://fullfact.org/health/coronavirus-essential-travel/

Essential travel does not include visits to second homes, camp sites, caravan parks or similar places, either for isolation or holidays. You should remain in your primary residence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What you mean like 90% of the rest of the Country - yeah right

What planet have you been on?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You genuinely think 90% of people have been breaking the rules?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes of course they have in one way or another - you’re a complete mug if you think everyone has been abiding to them

I think most people have done what they can to abide by the rules. The imbeciles that purposely break the guidelines you'd find in any society. But sometimes it isn't always feasible to abide to the guidelines, but most of us do our best to.

Regardless of whether 'everyone' has been abiding by these rules one of the key people compiling them hasn't.

Stop moving the goalposts because you can't deal with reality.

So you say... ‘sometimes it isn't always feasible to abide to the guidelines, but most of us do our best to.‘

So what’s the difference between that and what DC has done?

He did what he thoughT was best, on the advice of a Professional Medical Expert, he didn’t do anything illegal

And yet the are those baying for blood on a typical witch-hunt

Double standard again, it’s OK for ‘everyone’ to do their best, but when DC does that - he gets hounded and harassed by the Lowlife gutter media

posted on 25/5/20

FYI road travel was down 73% at the start of April, rail travel down 90%, and tube and bus journeys in London down by 94% and 83% respectively.

I never said I think everyone has been abiding, there's a small amount of people outright disobeying them, some who probably think no-one will notice so it's okay to break the rules (like Cummings), but there's plenty of people that have followed the rules.

Rubbish....if you want to get pedantic - the rules as they were....taking them as to be followed by the letter, were totally unrealistic, people would not have survived it they totally followed them by their own definition

Everyone, almost everyone, broke the rules in some way or another - it would have been virtually impossible to live otherwise

So whilst I agree, that the majority, tried...did their best, there’s no way that the vast majority kept to keeping 100% of the rules for all of the lockdown, no way whatsoever

Which then brings me into the point, just what rules can be broken slightly and are open interpretation depending on the situation, and which ones aren’t?

Dominic Cumming didn’t break any illegal law, and he followed the advice of medical experts - as far as I am concerned, he is old enough and responsible enough to make the decisions he seems fit his his family....just like any normal parent

...and the absolute irony of the witch hunt, are the sc—um press who surround his car and house, who are certainly not keeping a 2 metre distance, as they chase and harass the guy - an absolute joke

But they're not breaking any illegal law by not keeping a 2 metre distance.. they're adults capable of making decisions as they see fit to do their jobs.

" and he followed the advice of medical experts - as far as I am concerned, he is old enough and responsible enough to make the decisions he seems fit his his family....just like any normal parent...."

Firstly nobody has been protesting outside of his home due to the lockdown. He made that up to look like a victim. If he was that concerned about his /family safety he would have let someone (police / government know) and a security detail assigned to him.

Until last weekend he was continually filmed walking about on his own.

Would a "normal parent" place their wife and child in danger by asking them to join you for a drive whilst you checked to see if you were fit to drive

It was his wife's birthday, and the weather was great, so he went out for a drive.

Johnson could have come out and admitted Cumming's mistakes, and in turn advised they would handle in line with the parliamentary SPAD code of conduct.

However at this stage the Gov do not consider resignation an appropriate sanction, and also given his importance to the Govs cv19 team.

Instead they went on the defensive which has backfired horrendously. Both Johnson's and Cummings press briefings were absolute car crashes, (Johnson's possibly the worst of all the entire CV19 briefings) and has ensured the public/media focus remains on this topic rather than the wider CV19 issues facing the country.

I get most of your posts are wums as no one is that blind to reason. However I think some posts are disguised as wums as you actually believe some of it!
