The got justice you idiot. It's in your own article
Op you’ve gone and done it.
The Liverpool fan(s) will not be happy about this article.
Im more than happy for people like Billy to write Justice for the 39 after also writing down the sentences people were given a few lines above
I honestly don't know how this guy dresses himself.

Notbone fvck given Im afraid Bake em so you'll just have to live with it.
Still amazed the match went ahead
RIP to all the victims of this disaster
Good to see that some justice was done and some perpetrators were jailed and English clubs banned after many years of bad behaviour by English fans of various clubs.
The article is a bit misleading in that this disaster cannot be said to have been forgotten. I'd say its one of the most highlighted, and there's many other similar disasters that are far more forgotten than Heysel.
Didn't realise we had so many European places back then.

It's just another poorly thought out offering about Liverpool from Billy.

While the article is no doubt aimed at winding up a few Liverpool supporters and it could of been any English club in those days it just happened to be Liverpool, I dont know how you can think 18 months is justice for 39 deaths??
This is a good article on the situation. Even though silly point scoring over a tragedy is abhorrent, Liverpool did not cover themselves in glory regarding it all.

My father was there at the game, said it was the worst night of his life and stopped following football for quite a considerable time after.

Not surprised if he witnessed that.
Oh my.
I think I'll just go and make a tea.
A well written article Billy. It was a tragedy that should never have happened. And some of the sentencing handed out was laughable.
It was a very dark time for British football, and nearly amounted to Thatcher wanting to get rid of football in England full stop, because of the actions of supporters at Heysal.
Why write this? Seriously, why?
Our club have not forgotten:
https://www.liverpoolfc.com/heysel
Is the OP a copy and paste, or has he written it?
Not sure how you can say it's been forgotten, it gets mentioned all the time.
I remember watching the build up before the game and seeing some trouble happening.
Sad day for all those who lost loved ones
Lest we forget the OP was gleefully holding up a copy of a certain rag, with the caption that rag was right, the morning of the CL final.
Let’s not delude ourselves about the malice in this article and it’s purpose.
Just a shame he needs to stoop so low.
