Given Liverpool's rich history, I would always expect them to leapfrog City if they become successful again.

Interesting to see Spurs above Arsenal.

Credit to United for doing absolutely nothing on the pitch for the best part of a decade and still being just £12million away from being the richest team in the world.

Who needs to win things when we can sell keyrings and branded donuts?

Bring on the open top bus parade lads.

2 league titles, 2 league cups, 1 Europa trophy and 1 FA Cup is better than anything you’ve served up and half of the league.

Looking at the figures, does that mean Liverpool weren't a big club last year, despite their fans claiming they where?

I would, but I don't like man u, so I won't
plus, it's more like £120Million, not £12Million.

plus If they don't get 4th, and city don't get banned, it'll be at least another year outside of the CL, that should reduce their sponsorship income even further...

City bigger than Liverpool.? Financial terms perhaps but in footballing history terms they are still kids in nursery school with a rich Grandad.

City have a less successful history than Liverpool, but they surpassed Liverpool in size when they won the league in 2012. Since then they've grown bigger, more so when Guardiola came, whilst Liverpool have been catching up over the last two seasons but are still below City in size.

My definition of size is a combination of money, current success, current recognisable star players/managers at the club, number of fans and history. It's not just history, history is only a minor part of the size of a club.

United, like City struggle to fill their ground for cup games, what's your point?

I don't live in the 1980s, I don't care who won what back then and who was the biggest club back then.

I care about the here and now. And in this moment City are a bigger club than Liverpool and are the biggest club in this country.

So the biggest club in this country have 6 league titles and 0 European cups to their name, is that what we’re saying?
