Reckon he’ll be behind Moura and Bergwijn in the pecking order?
He usually has an end of season flurry followed by breaking down at the start of the following season.

It will be in training
He only ever gets injured in training and no one sees it. He’ll go flying into challenges, picking up yellow cards in matches and not so much as a scratch. It’s baffling
If we really do have a fully fit squad, Sissoko, Kane, Son,.... and even Ndombele all playing on the same pitch......
then I think the team can make up some lost ground in the Prem table. Need to get Euro footy next season.
Lamela will start on the bench, prepared to come on and add a little spice to Lo Celso's game.

He will play really well for 6 matches, everyone says we have Lamela back, Lamela gets a thigh strain, Lamela is unavailable for the next 5 months, rinse and repeat

If we can't get a tune out of Lamela now for 9 remaining games after the amount of time he's had the recover from injuries then we never will.... Fingers crossed.
Personally I don't think he's good enough but I appreciate his attitude and effort (when he does play). He was a classic panic buy with the Bale money.... Given what we have spent on him (Wages & fees) he's been a bit of a joke given how long he's been at the club
If there's a bet on the first player to get injured now training has resumed..... My money is on him
