As Great Times said ridiculous penalty in the 1st min, 3 weeks with no competitive game, Poch insisting on playing Kane on his return following a 3 month layoff ahead of Lucas and a truly display of poor finishing from our strikers. Awful final but well done on the 6th star
Don't care one bit if the final was boring. We won it 6 times is all that matters.

It was a very poor game. The 3 weeks off hurt both teams and us scoring in 2 mins hurt the game. I dont care about either though, what a trip that was.

When you look at the adversity Spurs had overcome to get to the final and the fact it was many of our players one career opportunity to win it the performance still bewilders me.
After going behind so early the onus was on us to take the game to Liverpool and we were completely incapable. I will never forgive Poch for not starting Moura and I believe the fallout/hangover from the game has had a huge effect on this underwhelming season.
That said fair play to Liverpool I would of been more than happy for Spurs to win a poor final.

Maybe, although I have very vague memories of being so bored by the 03 final that I decided to play it on Fifa instead.
People who are not winners dont realise that the drama of earlier rounds almost never happens in the final.
It's a one off that is all about the trophy. Once we scored the early pen it was all over. Nothing else mattered.
Spurs and Liverpool fans both had their great nights in the semi finals.

That's a perfect summation for me. Huge error to start kane. Huge.
I would have said the same after Kiev but we only improved while spurs, I don't know what happened. Maybe contracts or something, lack of investment over time? Injuries?
I only remembered the 2 goals....everything else from that night is a blur
Sissoko should never have his hands up like that. He sold Spurs in that final.

It was a crap final in terms of both quality and drama in comparison to every other CL final, forget earlier rounds.
Yeah we all remember Chelsea vs Bayern so vividly and in so much detail.
I'm not even furrrking having a dig, it was a crap final, greatdude, kashdude and welshdude all said the same. Stop being sensitive.
Final was poor but who cares after the run up to it, probably the best CL campaign the worlds ever seen even with a dull final that ended in a routine 2-0 win.

It was my wedding day so didn't get to watch the game in full, caught Origi's goal and the last few minutes and had people updating me all night as to how the game was going.
Special memories watching those final minutes with my Dad on my wedding day.

It was a poor game. I dont think anyone can say otherwise to be honest. Of course we dont care but I have zero issue with neutrals calling it out for being rubbish.

It was an awful game but as has been mentioned it was the final and really at that stage the result is all that matters.
Id rather win a poor final than be remembered for losing a great one.

No dig?you constantly have a dig at LFC,. you appear to be about 15. with silly little giggles when posting threads. Like Sandy they are stupid as they come.
The last twenty five or so mins were decent, spurs started using the ball much better and had plenty of shots, the big Div scored.
Great Final, great memories
