Glad to see no Jones or Lingard involved, but Pereira was

This backline looks great

De Gea
Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire, Williams

Sure on the pics I saw just now on Uniteds social media Pogba had red kit on and Fernandes had the horrible beige one on.

Jones was told to go and kick the ball against a wall while the others trained but he got injured when he went in for a crunching tackle with said wall

Yes, Tuanzebe has kind of become the forgotten man but he has looked the part when fit. He'd be my first choice partner for Maguire, fitness permitting

Bailly is far too rash for my liking. He gets caught out of position and often has to dive in. He's better than Lindelof but inability to keep a cool head and concentrate is a massive and fatal flaw for any centre back imo

Really like ighalo and great he’s staying a bit longer. Seems a great sort of guy to have around, and he’s proven to be pretty good on occasion too..

Merry - and tuanzebe has shown nothing really. Let’s be honest. He’s barely had a handful of games for us at CB. And hasn’t really been that impressive.

I agree it's not a large sample size but I think he's been pretty good. His one poor game was against Arsenal at full back, from memory

Bailly has all the attributes Lindelof hasn’t, he’s strong, quick, aggressive, good in the air, I really don’t know what Lindelof brings to the table as a CB

But, Bailly has 2 major flaws, staying fit and committing football’s version of Hara-kiri every now and then

I think he could build a very decent partnership with Bruno.

Can’t see Ole changing up the back four much until we sign more defenders. Williams or Shaw are the only ones he’ll have a decision to make over.

Merry - that’s my point. We just don’t know how good he is and so far I’ve been more impressed with bailey next to Maguire. I think they work well with Maguire being more calm and bailey more athletic and with extra energy and he’s still young too at 26 for a CB. Tuanzebe to rotate with him maybe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Bailly has been good since he came back. And I expect him to start alongside Maguire against Spurs. But I do always have that worry that he's going to have a brain fart at any moment. Similarly I had that with Rojo, but Bailly is a cut above him as a defender.

Fair point on Tuanzebe but I have been impressed with what I've seen so far

I believe the brain farts will reduce with more time next to Maguire and better understanding.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hopefully so. No doubt, he has a lot of positive attributes. And the negatives I pointed out can be rectified with relatively little difficulty. It's more a mental issue then one of ability, which is far harder to improve
