Celtic were in the league and competitive during Rangers 9IAR so yes - it was fair competition.

Rangers had practically unlimited funds.
Rangers had a team of internationals including some of the England team including the then Captain.
Celtic were going into administration.
So by your rationale, Rangers' 9inarow didn't count then..?

p.s Scottish Premiership was more difficult when Rangers were in the lower leagues.
When Rangers came back up we just couldn't stop winning Trebles as it was easier, go figure.
As a non old firm fan I will throw in my own my own tuppence worth. It seems to me you can't say that Rangers fans don't care about the 10 in a row scenario as their hierarchy where talking about it before celtics. I think everyone will remember dave King saying its not 9 in a row as rangers where not in the league for some of it.
He surely only brought up this topic or discussed it because he knows that a large part of the fan base care.

If Livingston want 2m for Dykes let them keep him or sell him somewhere else. He looked pretty good but I'm not convinced he's the answer.
And yes Rangers supporters care about 10 in a row being stopped. Outside Scotland maybe not many care but stopping / winning 10 is all there is this season.

Watching Scotland Euro 92 qualifiers just how good were some of our players back then? John Robertson, McStay, McCall was so good I forgot, Goram, McCoist, McLeod we had some team at one point and McKimmie and Malpas better than KT or Robertson for me.

I know he did poorly at Newcastle but John Robertson could have won a golden boot if he signed for Celtic or Rangers what a finisher.
