Violence in London this weekend

“ I also back peaceful protests against racism and cops killing black people.”

Which the majority has been. For some reason the focus has been on ‘left wing thugs’. Now we have the idea that the institution of the typical EDL type idiots will somehow be peaceful.

We’ve already seen one example at their reaction to peaceful protest. There’s no way they’re going to focus just their attention on the minority causing trouble and violence.

So you feel personally provoked into travelling into London and engaging in violence?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
1. It pishes me off, but not enough to go, if someone wants to I encourage them
2. Who said violence? I was referring to people protecting statues. As I said before the right wing thugs getting involved is dangerous, but take the community defending Scout leader Baden-Powell yesterday. They responded to provocation by left wing thugs trying to get the statue removed, whats wrong with that?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It does seem odd that the same people who get vocal about Winston Churchill saving us from the Na zis, also get upset about a statue of a man who coveted the Hitler Youth.

Why is there such a connection between football fans and right wing views, Brexit, racism etc?

Or is that unfair?
—————————————

It’s not unfair.

Football is fundamentally a working-class sport. A lot of football fans are uneducated and/or from poorer socio-economic backgrounds.

I thought about suggesting that but thought people might take offence.

Does seem to be the case though.

There's no protest.

There's a bunch of white, bald / skin heads travelling in to stand next to a statue.

The chances are, while they're there, they'll shout obscenities, racial abuse and look for any excuse to get involved in a fight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey, as a white bald skinhead retired Hoolie, I find that offensive and racist, LMAO.

If BLM called it off, then football lads alliance, EDL or whoever, should put their trotters up and stay home.

Yea, football fans and the working classes should be steteotyped, racially and politically profiled, and then asked to vote for Corbyn next day, lol.

Think there may be a few left wing football fans about and educated working class oiks, but don't let that curtail generalizations....you know, like the BLM protest about.

Gotta giggle

To be honest, if they want to go up to London, chant a few things and then go home and let that be an end to it, perhaps that will get it out of their system.

You said it's an act of provocation.

If you feel provoked, you must feel it's an attack against you.

Football fans reflect society....tiny number in UK are racist.

Unlike seventies society and football, thankfully.

We moved on.

I saw black people in the EDL and casuals gangs and firms across England......

I hear some black people attend games now and play for England, but it could be whitewashing.

That group are going down there with the hope that they can cause some violence under the pretence that they are patriotic heroes. Then they will act like victims when more of them are arrested than the group that are there in the majority to peacefully protest.

Its so predictable. Tommy Robinson will love it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Crazy isn't it. Who could have seen vandalising the memorial of Britain's greatest hero provoking the nationalists? Ultimately the cowardly police are to blame. If the authorities don't stop the vandals, vigilantes will.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine Winston Churchill being the greatest hero. That’s where the country is going wrong.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is. Get facked.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

What was so heroic about the evil deeds he was responsible for? It explains a lot tbh how there could be so many dumb people in this country when they hero worship a guy who by all accounts should be remembered in history amongst the worst of the worst.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ungrateful facking sheit. You can't judge yesterdays people by today's standards.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, I’m sure you can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You can, but only a reetard would, which is why you so wilfully do it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Imagine dropping chemicals on millions of Iraqi Kurds and starving million of Indians to death is considered heroic in this country.
