not even the best player in his family
Larsson I could accept. Moravcik is a stretch in my opinion.

I agree, 'left foot' Laudrup is better

You're acting like being not as good as Michael Laudrup is some sort of insult?

Aye. One of the greatest players of all time.
Best in training according to Cruyff I think.
Amazing that Denmark won '92 euros without qualifying and without him. Proper fairytale stuff.
They did have Brian though

Not at all, just a fact
Laudrup was infuriatingly good despite Celtic's pashness at the time.
He talked about it after he left but at Celtic corners they'd inevitably be losing or going for it leaving only 2 back against one Rangers striker. He'd pretend to mark someone on the edge of his box but as soon as the corner was hit he'd make a beeline for the touchline around half way full in the knowledge Rangers were likely to win the ball and launch a counter.
Either the 2nd defender was dragged out to challenge him leaving the striker 1 on 1 or he could run up to our box unchallenged.
Simple tactical gamble but it worked repeatedly.

Not a doubt that Brian Laudrup was a fantastic player. The debate over greatest ever import will never end though.

Lauders is in the ET?
Rod out...Forrest...
Only player that’s really taken me a back in Scotland, picking the ball up at the half line way line and storming through all.
Different type of player to Larsson, better at creating than Larsson obviously while Larsson was a better scorer obv. So comparisons are pointless, although Laudrup did win better honours so....

Wouldn't argue with that TBH. All 4 were fabulous players though. Doubt we'll see quality like that in our game again, bar maybe the odd fleeting player we luck out with and keep for a season or two before they move on to bigger things. Happy days!
