Larsson is the only choice for #1.

2nd place is a much more difficult one between Lubo and Laudrup, both were fantastic players, the fact that Lubo was so good even in his advanced years and that Laudrup was a diving bassa means I will have to give Lubo the nod.

After next season I suspect Eddy will be crashing the top 3 also.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I get where you are coming from with regards to age but if you take that out of it and focus on the quality and sheer impact to the game in Scotland then I think Laudrup out does Lubo. Given longer then Lubo may have overtaken Laudrup but I suspect there are far more Celtic fans whose hearts were broken by Laudrup over and over than the other way.

IMO that is always the bigger tell of a players impact and is also why I have Gazza in 4th place. Truly wonderful player but didn't have the thing that Laudrup or Goram had in OF games for me

If you're looking for a more interesting debate than this one, who is the best foreign player to have played in Scotland but didn't play for the OF?

I'd go for Sauzee, but I did very much like Eremenko at Killie.

You guys are barking mental

Moravčík and Laudrup in the same sentence

Decent enough for Celtic but FFS

Laudrup was good, but a one trick pony.

I have never seen a better player than Laudrup
Saw Greig, McNeil, Jinky, Cooper, Gazza, and Moravcik not for me yes there’s an inbuilt bias
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I know

Fek
De Canio
Nakamurra
McStay
Lambert

And loads more

Were all better FFS.....

Sauzee was a tremendous player for Hibs but I'd say James Mcfadden

Laudrup was a fantastic player and seemed a thoroughly decent person. Not one of those Rangers players you wanted to punch repeatedly. Even when he was the difference between us in a derby I still couldn't dislike the guy - I suppose that's what they call respect

Was Lubo really that good? Obviously I have better recollection of the Rangers players of my youth than the Celtic ones, but all I remember of Moravcik is the name. Maybe just a little before my time.
