Was Lubo really that good? Obviously I have better recollection of the Rangers players of my youth than the Celtic ones, but all I remember of Moravcik is the name. Maybe just a little before my time.

Yes. One of the most skillful players I have ever seen. Could head the ball, left foot as good as his right. Dribbling, shooting, could do it all. Pity we got him so late in his career.

I was on a Q&A last night with a former Celtic player and asked him about Lubo and his recollection of this old guy turning up at training.
He said that Lubo was amazing, corner with left foot then run to other side and corner with right foot. Skill and vision were unreal.
He had a great 3 or 4 years at Celtic
Can just see you getting all excited.
He answered MY question guys.

I read that and laughed. A mid table EPL club would pay that for him and it would be a far more productive move for him for his career than Qatar

Rodgers probably rates him highly as a goalscorer but as a player does he fit the mould of the way Rodgers likes to play? I'm not so sure
Links up well. Handy with the players they play behind the striker. Doubt he would be their first choice though
