Could be a great signing.

Hoping he falls into the Loldado category however.

theyre getting some grate signings in tbf.

wasnt that impressed with Werner in the CL against us but he probably realised he could get away with being in gear 1 all game against such a shower.

Really great player, with Ziyech and Hudson/Pulisic it's a solid and very fluid front 3 that.

Maybe 1-2 seasons time they could put another challenge in

Think its a very good signing for Chelsea and one that makes the most sense out of the teams he was most linked with. He wouldn't get in Liverpool's front 3 so would mean being a bit part player. While he would have been a good signing for United, with Martial, Rashford, Greenwood and Igalo until jan, its probably a position we are assessing until next summer to see how the main 3 progress. But Chelsea were crying out for a quality main man up front and as already said he will compliment their wide players well. Makes sense all round.

Chelsea are gonna have some great young players. I can see them being a force soon. Not sure about their keeper though

Personally think even just as a rotation player he'd get 30/40 games with us across our front 3. It'd have been ideal to be able to take 10/15 games off each of our front 3 at different times. They wont continue to keep up pulling the number of games they do without serious injury/burnout.

Could be a great signing. Looks a top player.

Don’t think we were ever really in for him though.

We were never going to get Werned and Sancho. Sancho is a better fit for what we need.

Werner's a good fit for Chelsea.

Offers Lampard plenty of flexibility in what he can do with their attack and he's more ruthless in front of goal than any of their other players. Tammy Abraham's the only Chelsea player to reach double figures this season.

They'll be a bigger threat on the counter too.

£102.5m is a ridiculous amount of money for his transfer fee, agent fee and wages (especially when his agent has just pocketed £12m from this deal alone ).

Did somebody say prices were dropping this summer?
