Fred for the easier games. Best footballer of the three.

For the tougher games I wouldn’t be against going with a diamond and including 2 of those 3.

Fred is a form/confidence player. It will take him a few games to get back into his stride.

Many criticised him as he was seen as part of why we lacked creativity.

......

No idea why. It is not his job to be creative.

Pogba seems to have gone from "he has to win his place back" to "must start" in the space of 30 minutes of football.

Anyway... I'd go with McT, tenacious and doesn't get bullied. For certain games Fred and even Matic would be better though... Horses for courses.

To me, it is more about the formation we take up than the person playing deeper.

Not in my book. The only way he is must start is if ole plays a 3, if he’s one of the usual Mf 2 that’ gets played then, no, he doesn’t walk in. Ole, sort it out..play a damn 3.

wel I and many others have him down as a starter since day 1. I think the people that kept saying he needs to win his place back were deluded. I thought yesterday would have woken them up from the delusion, but it appears that I am wrong.

no one said pogba is now perfect but with all his flaws he still better than all our other options bar bruno atm

Not deluded at all. They are taking into consideration his poor form the last games he played. The fact he wanted away, his attitude, meant he had to repair some bridges.

Plus we were playing well before lockdown.

Exactly 52. He played well yesterday, but not the amazing performance people seem to be attributing, he looked hungry and played quite well. Anything above that is exaggeration and overkill. If he keeps that up then we can start waxing lyrical, but we’ve been here before, every day since he signed. Hot and cold, great one week total liability the next. I hope that with the up turn in form, Bruno stealing his thunder, the fact no one was interested in buying him despite his efforts to get out, provide us with a Pogba who’s up for it and has a major point to prove.

And that ole cones to his senses and plays him in a 3, where he can cause damage, and not damage his own team...

Nonsense.

It's the job of every player on the pitch to contribute defensively AND offensively

The bottom line is we need Pogba to be firing on all cylinders.

What I took above all else from the half hour or so yesterday was his commitment.

Once we get Pogba where he needs to be he is an automatic starter as is Bruno.

If we get Pogba...

Ole needs to play him in a 3, not a 2, where he’s a liability Then we need consistency from him. Something he’s never managed whilst at utd.

We’ve been here before, one half decent performance and then he disappears for 5 games. Let’s hope he’s turned the corner..

You are preaching to the converted on that.
