could be a fantastic signing, still early days but has pace and power and eye for a goal.

shame we do not have a competent team behind him

Loving Stevie B. A greating signing by a top top manager. Credit to Jose.

He needs a chant , how about to the tune of Red Red Wine ?

Bergwijn,Bergwijn you make me feel so fine ,you keep smiling all of the time !

Smiling meant scoring

Good player, solid signing, similar to Sonny & Moura.. I like him but kinda pointless getting too carried away when the back 4 behind him needs to be replaced and the CM is totally incapable of dictating a game and effectively getting the ball forward to our better players in dangerous positions... Its a team game, hero worshipping players is a waste of time.... The time for talking up players is when they have a medal around their neck, not when they are 8th, scrabbling for a Europa place and out of all cup comps

It's a strange one, apart those fantastic goals, I don't remember him doing anything.

But that probably has more to do with the opposing teams always having 85% possession.

Looks a talented player. Not only the 3 goals but he won the pen v villa too.

Well he’s clearly behind Kane & son. He’s fighting with lamela & lucas ( maybe even dele ) for his place.

Tbh as much as I like Bergwijn I’d still rather we went for Stengs from AZ. He’s going to be a much better player.

i think he has the potential to be a real asset for us- i think he will in time become a key player for us. I like he has bags of pace but he is also very good technically as well. Expecting big things from him next season

He’s looking a good player and definitely a great signing for his price of £26m. The signing has largely seemed to go under the radar as an ‘underrated’ signing.

Strong/durable for his height, good shooting technique, carried on his goalscoring record.

Good signing so far. Three goals in 6 and two in big matches. Clearly got some skill with those finishes too. Looks promising.

Very impressed with him. Was a bit worried that he could just be a pace merchant who did well in a poor Dutch league.

But he is technically accomplished and his decision making is good.

In him, Lo Celso and Ndombele our scouts have actually signed some top quality players. Now up to the manager to get the most out of them...

Ndombele is clearly talented and i think he will come good either with us or without... however he was not the type of midfielder we needed- if we were going to spend that much i would have preferred an out and out cdm with real quality

Does look like you have made a good signing with him. He should suit Jose's everyone behind the ball, counter attacking approach to games as well.

Kane though I think may suffer being so isolated as he doesn't have the pace to run back and forth all day.

Shame we didn’t get Ancelotti

posted on 22/6/20

Yeah I like him from the little Ive seen. Physically he has all the tools you'd want in his position with great balance, good acceleration and a fast. He looks well coached too and has decent tekkers. Good signing I reckon, especially at that price.

Why? You do realise King Jose brought Stevie B and this thread is about Stevie B. Without King Jose no Stevie B. Stevie B is quoted as saying after a phonecall with Jose he decided to join us. Be grateful to the King.

I'll hold my hands up and admit I wasn't a huge fan of the signing - didn't think he was much better than average - but he's stepped up. The goals he's scored have been high quality and he looks a much better player than I thought. Plenty of time to work on his all-round game, the talent seems to be there.

posted on 22/6/20

To all those who continue to gush about NDombele, Bergwijn has made a far bigger contribution in half the time at half the price !!!. It has nothing to do with talent (all players at this level have talent !!!) Its about attitude and application

Bergwijn plays in a completely different position and we were linked with him way before Mourinho

He does doesn't seem like a Jose signing to me.
