Selby and Ronnie have met twice at the Crucible and Selby has won both times. Selby has also only lost 1 out of 5 Crucible semi finals. I wouldn't at all be surprised if that trend continues.

They do, but I'd prefer Ronnie to play Slowby in the semi...

This is Ronnie's 12th Semi final... Ronnie won't let Slowby torture him... But it will be tough...

Ronnie has lost a least 5 of those semi finals though. I'm predicting a 17-14 win for Selby.

Yeah Selby will be mentally too strong

We'll see... If Slowby wins, I want the winner of the other...

Ronnie has had 2 meltdowns on semi's before, once against Dott where he lost a session 8 - 0, & did the same against Higgins one year, his first semi was remarkably 24 years ago In 1996 where he lost to Ebdon 16 - 14,

I remember 4 semi's with Ronnie & Hendry, 2-2, 1999 & 2002, high class matches with Hendry winning both, 2004 & 2008 landslide wins for Ronnie,

Yes Cal, I'd love Ronnie's terrible cue action 😂

Ronnie had 5 centuries and 7 fifty plus breaks. But his cue action has gone apparently .

Problem he had with Williams and similar to what he will encounter with Selby is not being able to win the scrappy frames. Williams and Selby are masters of winning ugly.

If Ronnie can stay with Selby and compete with the safety game, he will have a chance

I'd love to just be able to make a 50 break

Only 620 comments on last year's W/C Arsenal, maybe 1200+ for this year at the end.

Snoreby has been in full on grind fest mode, he will torture Ronnie and will now be tournament favourite

Ronnie talks about the 2014 final much like Robertson talked yesterday, got too embroiled in Slowby's play, Ronnie won't fall for it, he'll smash the balls up, yes, he'll lose some frames, but he'll as also win more, Ronnie 17-15... I hope.

Cal, we know how Slowby plays, but Ronnie has said that every time he's met Slowby since that world final he's played his own game, I think the've only met 3 or 4 times since then with Ronnie coming out on top 3-0 or 3-1, but not over the long distance, it's a very intriguing match.

The've met 7 times since that final in 2014, Ronnie leads 5-2, but Selby did win the UK in 2016 10-7.... 😑

1pm first match between Kyren Wilson and Anthony McGill. In usual circumstances I'd want McGill to win but he wouldn't have a chance in the final against Ronnie or Selby no disrespect to him. Whereas I feel Kyren will give either of them a decent game and maybe could sneak a win.

I think Wilson has a chance to win it, I'd love him to win.... Ifs it's Slowby.. Not Ronnie of course... One table now... 👍
