Apologies mate.

You did want or deserve this and I will bow it.

Cant stand hypocrites and wee cliquey guys going tribal or scarfy.

You oppose racial discrimination and treat black people as equals, like I do.

I just do not need brand BLM to be a good human being.

Bollocks.

Ignoring racism is not treating everyone equal.

Resorting to clique patter and CA comments shows a desire to deflect. Making multiple articles about people who filtered you is pathetic

I'm done on this topic

If you don't want to get it, you're never going to get it. Equality is a right, it doesn't deserve credit.

I agree that defending the police is more of an issue for the states as I said in response to some of your points on your other post.

That's not to say that there aren't discussions to be had about UK policing. Black people are 9 times more likely to be stopped and searched in the UK for example.

BLM in the UK do talk about training, education and reforms in the UK but do not rule out defunding and abolition of that doesn't work.

Also I'm not sure you know what defunding and abolition of police means

Defunding is more of a conversation for the us but it's about taking money for mental health support and community outreach that currently goes to the police bit they are absolutely not qualified or able to do and funding specialist services instead. Many police forces simply don't use the money for these purposes and buy millatry equipment instead

Defund the police is about stopping them from being millatry units and narrowing their scope to actual police work not mental health and social care. It's actually a very good idea and has worked well in the states that have tried it.

Abolition does not mean no police it means the policy of that police department is so bad, or corrupt or racist or all of them that the best thing to do is start from scratch.

Again states that have done this have seen huge improvements and

Dont let the extremist win

Its what they want.

Its the usual deflection tactics when you point out the flaws in their point of view. That you must be a racist.

Im going to filter you now too. Doubt you'll do another 'filtered' article so i'll state my reasons here.

The main one is that youre a preaching crashing more.

Your fairly constant use of lmao, cool, bro and dude make me feel a bit sick.

Ive had a theory for years that people who consider themselves experts on, and offer opinions on, a wide range of topics generally aren't.

There's actually loads more now that i come to think of it but i'll leave it that. Apart from your tendency to make slightly sinister and threatening remarks to other posters like 'i have your card marked' and 'im keeping my eye on you'. Stuff like that.

Keyboard warrior threats are best ignored. Zico thinks they should be called out rather than ignored but I'm of a mind to ignore it. Its never acceptable and tends to point to losing an argument.

I've found filtering on this site has made it more enjoyable. I was against it for a long time but it dies help. One daftie filtered me in his first day on his new account. Happy with that. No continual naming them in posts or having digs.

Don't know if I'm going a bit tinfoil hat here, but does anyone think that some of the more universally derided actions by the media in recent times (Fawlty Towers, Gone With the Wind, removing white voice actors) has been orchestrated to drive a wedge between the lower classes again?
The BLM movement this time seems to have had a lot of support from all backgrounds this time around, which is extremely dangerous to those with money and power. What better way to destroy that support than to show things going "too far"?

Read chomsky and his talk on the propaganda machine.

He talks about the easiest way to distract the masses is to get them all to rally behind a catchy slogan that has no meaning and avoids the real question.

No justice no peace

Aye very good but as i pointed out it at the start do blm actually have any real objectives?

Happens all the time in america. They let citizens carry guns so the police tend to shoot first.

As chonmsky says thats the real issue and not some stupid slogan

Yes guns are a problem but again race plays a part here too

Remember the anti lockdown protests squads of guys with assualt rifles occupying government buildings largely just watched by police.

Do you honestly think if groups of black people congregated with assault rifles in the streets it would go the same way?
