I agree that Bielsa will wish Bamford scored more goals, like we all do, even Bamford does. No one can argue with that.
I also agree that he forgives it because of his other qualities.
I do think Bielsa needs a player that move, press and hold the ball up more than he needs a finisher though. But we are basically saying the same thing. Or atleast getting the same answer in a different way.
Both recognise why Bamford is in the team and accept his finishing could be better.
But he took his chance excellently on Saturday and was taken off because he wasn't doing what is required.
Eddie also finished pretty much every chance he had, but couldn't do what was required. Hence me coming to the conclusion that finishing isn't the most important factor.
World Cup/Euros have been won with a striker who's priority wasn't to score.
"I also agree that he forgives it because of his other qualities"
What other qualities?
He took his goal brilliantly. No argument from me.
And it was massive.

Don't blame me I didn't publish the article 😀
People who think that finishing ability is what makes a striker are living in the past, unwilling to accept that football has passed them by. Firmino is a league, continental, and world champion by virtue of playing that hard work high press role. Olivier Giroud has a world cup winners medal because he plays the unselfish striker role. There is no obsession over him getting the goals.
For all Mitrovic and Watkins have done this year the top two for most of the year have Bamford and Robson-Kanu.
He plays the system well. If you don't like it then support a club/manager that play a different way.

Probably the most stupid post of the year, especially the last two lines!
What an arrogant poster you are Lubo!
You've just disenfranchised anyone on here who has a different opinion to you...."If you don't like it then support a club/manager that play a different way"
I don't think I will be taking advice from the likes of you!
Will you be getting back to me Lubo, or are you watching that tv prog 'the Living and the Dead' ?
He watches that and he's giving me advice, what a plonker!! 😀
You need to calm down, mate. Not all of us spend all our time whinging on here.
And as for your last post, I have no idea what you're talking about
You need to change back from your big girls blouse and stop getting stroppy when there's any criticism of Bamford....I've seen your posts regarding said prog, are you denying it?

Take all the time you need to fact check your attempts at insults though, mate
You watch the Walking Dead, I don't watch that either!
Perhaps you should stop giving me advice and get back to the Walking Dead, suits you Mr Pious!

You got there eventually. Well done.
I do watch television. What a top quality comeback. I suppose you couldn't make a football reference considering you know so little about it
Well, Bamford does divide opinions doesn't he?
Bottom line is that he is our number 9, top scorer and we are top of the league with 7 games to go. He has also missed many many chances because he gets in such good positions and because he usually pulls apart and bullies opposition players, holds the ball up well and defends from the front. He even defends at the back.
And on Saturday, for once, he played a bit like a cart horse and scored a beauty, all because his control was bad and we got a lucky ricochet.
Of course, Roberts was better though. He played for 90 minutes, didn't score, got lucky by not giving away a penalty because his control was shocking, while Bamford pretty much stopped the Fulham scoring into an open net from 6 yards out.
Football isn't black or white. Sometimes you are on your game and sometimes you are not. But these guys bleed Leeds United, every one.
And we're top of the League and about to get promoted, and I'm as proud as **** of all of them. Ups and downs, as a team and as individuals, they get my backing.

To be honest with you, it seems to be you getting into a bit of a strop. But okay. If it helps you feel better I will play along.
You're the one originally attacking my posts, perhaps you should learn to read...I've tried to be fair and give my honest opinion, never said anything to you...but I know you like to take me on, sweet!
I disagreed with your post, and you then sent three posts containing incorrect 'insults' and virtually asking me if I wanted to step outside.
