Great news, electric is the future.

It’s bad enough when you have OAP’s on mobility scooters with no idea of road rules pulling on roads in front of traffic, add to that young people off their faces on whatever dressed in their anti-traffic T-shirts and trackies and you have a recipe for disaster

Save it for after the game

They’re great for using while you fly a drone.

At first glance I read e-scousers.

Which is pretty much GB isn’t it?

I'm sure it will end badly. I saw one scooterist today hop off the road about 5 yards in front of a car to avoid a group of pedestrians and then hop back onto the pavement. The motorist instinctively braked, which could have caused a shunt from behind and as he went past the idiot on the scooter gave the idiot a deserved mouthful and the big finger. They are a great thing and if I got one it would only take me 10-15 minutes to get to work instead of 40. But there has to be some legislation on their use.

I live in an area of Dublin that's ex council housing, the young fellas are going around in gangs on the scooters trying to look hard, it's hard to take them seriously.

Maybe they fancy making a cool film about travelling across Ireland on their scooters. E-sy Rider.

Are these similar to the ones you now find in European cities? If so, I used them a lot while in Copenhagen and they were a fantastic way to get around

Only the ones you hire are legal, owning one and its still illegal to use on the streets, why the difference?

Riders will need a full or provisional car, motorcycle or moped licence to use the vehicles, and they must be aged 16 or over.

Anyone over 16 who plays with drones needs to reassess their life

15 cents a minute, not had a go but people I know that have said they're well worth it!..

Personally I'd be to afraid of having a go, I mean, there's a few out there that want to knock em down!.

But the guy says your not allowed to drink when using them, that'll P some off!.

When people say "Electric is the Future" thinking that it makes a cleaner environment I sometimes wonder where they are coming from.
They plug their little electric conscience relieving go-karts in and then drive them to their shopping and are outraged at the lack of recharging facilities. Try driving from John O'groats to Lands End in one of them.
Many seem unaware that the power that they recharge with is provided by power plants still using those nasty fossil fuels which pollute the atmosphere or nuclear power stations.
Wind farms at sea make sense.
Harnessing tidal power for turbines is brilliant as the power source is there 4 times a day, every day.
So the people who drive E-Cars shouln't be so smug.

Sounds like a good overpopulation solution to me. And from initial appearances, the right type of w@nkers.

People who hire and use infrequently are obviously going to be safer than owners who use them regularly. Experience leads to more accidents. This is basic common sense...
